Exciting news, Ali is now a registered PBS provider! This means, if your child has Specialist Behaviour Intervention funds included in their NDIS plan (noted under 'Improved Relationships'), and you'd like tricky behaviours to be investigated by someone knowledgeable, approachable, and who is a part of a multi-disciplinary team, give us a call :-)

We love our team days! A chance to unwind and focus on the great working relationships that bring the magic to our clinic. This one featured our oh so happy furry friends, a delicious shared picnic lunch, and a special celebration (but you’ll have to stay tuned for more details on this, it’s a good one!). End it with some great professional learning and celebrating our latest employee of the months, and we had a day that will be very hard to beat!

On Wednesday we teamed up with the fabulous Fishabilities Busselton team, to offer an inclusive and sensory supportive fishing experience at Sykes Jetty! We were so happy that everyone was able to catch a fish, and with a bit of team work, even a crab!
Helpful tip: rubbing salt onto prawn pieces will take away the slimy texture, making them much easier bait to handle for those who are sensory sensitive!

Our January programs are officially in full swing, with a group of kids trying their hand at fishing today 🙌🏼
TBT to our Christmas gift making programs in December: we had kids crafting, ironing, working together, building friendships and expressing their creativity 🥰
We were surprised to hear multiple kids say that their highlight was ironing! Time to get those irons out mums and dads 😉
We hope you all enjoyed your Christmas gifts sent home at the end of the day :-)

Vanessa is here to offer capacity building support for parents with children on the spectrum.
Vanessa understands the key challenges that may arise for individuals with autism, their families, and carers. Parents of autistic children might struggle with housekeeping, finances, emotional and mental health, marital relationships and even physical health. These can impact the response to the needs of other children in the family, resulting in poor sibling relationships.
Vanessa is available to discuss the above and help parents to build their capacity to support their NDIS funded child(ren).
