Dr Jackie Earl and Micky Leon - Owner and Director of the Bunbury Skin Cancer Clinic announces the well-deserved retirement of Dr Fred Pretorius as of the 29th of July 2025.

Dr Pretorius has been an integral part of BSCC for many years, providing exceptional care and building strong relationships with his patients. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication, expertise and countless lives he has touched. Jackie, colleagues and staff congratulate Fred on a wonderful and successful career and sincerely wish him all the best for a relaxed and happy retirement.

We have 8 dedicated Doctors at the clinic, following in Dr Pretorius's steps providing excellent bespoke skin cancer care and treatment to the wider Southwest community. At BSCC, we utilize advanced software from DermEngine to capture high-resolution digital images of your skin across your entire body. This innovative approach is recommended by the Melanoma Institute of Australia for patients seeking advanced skin monitoring.

This technology allows us to create a comprehensive record of all moles via a mapping system. In conjunction with a complete full-body skin check performed by your doctor, the images are then used, as comparisons, at subsequent appointments enabling your doctor to identify any mole changes.
