Dear Clients,

In these uncertain and unprecedented times, Hand Clinic and Lymphoedema South West continues to practice as usual, providing excellence in hand therapy and lymphoedema management. We take the safety of our patients and our staff very seriously. We already adhere to strict hygiene guidelines and have introduced additional measures to dis-infect common surfaces (doors, light switches, tables, EFTPOS machine etc) more often than usual throughout each day.

Patients or visitors cannot attend our clinics if they have:
• Visited any country in the last 14 days (they will be required to stay at home- self isolate for 14 days)
• Been in close contact with a confirmed case of Coronavirus in the last 14 days (they must isolate themselves for 14 days after the date of last contact with the confirmed case)
• Experienced flu-like symptoms - coughing, sore throat, difficulty breathing or fever within the last 14 days.

Symptoms of COVID-19 can range from mild illness to pneumonia. Some people will recover easily, others may get very sick very rapidly. People with Coronavirus may experience:
• Fever
• Flu-like symptoms such as coughing, sore throat and fatigue
• Shortness of breath

Patients are encouraged to attend their appointments if they are well, follow the social distancing guidelines in the waiting room and adhere to our hygiene requirements during their visit. Please call us for any queries on 9754 1404.
