Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) has been shown to positively impact multiple physiological markers of health. Research led by Dr Peta Stapleton found significant improvements in cortisol levels, blood pressure, heart rate variability, and immune function following EFT sessions. These measurable changes highlight how addressing emotional stress can directly support the body’s overall health and regulation

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a gentle, evidence-based approach that supports both emotional and physical wellbeing. By combining elements of cognitive therapy with somatic stimulation, EFT helps to regulate the nervous system and reduce the intensity of distressing thoughts and feelings. It can be used to address a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, trauma, and unhelpful behavioural patterns, supporting lasting change and greater emotional balance.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) has been shown to create measurable changes in the brain and body. Research led by Dr Peta Stapleton demonstrates reductions in stress hormones like cortisol, along with shifts in brain activity linked to emotional regulation and fear response. These changes support the brain in moving out of a heightened stress state, allowing for greater calm, clarity, and resilience

Oh how I wish I had miss 5’s magical key…

Instead my brain needs to think about everything I did today, what I’m doing tomorrow and what’s for dinner on Tuesday in 3 weeks time

I always finish my day with deep breathing and a couple of rounds of silent tapping.

Cooked dinner, needed to clean the kitchen so went to put away a clean container in the pantry. Saw the breakfast cereal needed to be put in the empty containers (not the one I was originally putting away), did this, which reminded me I needed milk for breakfast so went to IGA and bought milk.. anyone else ? 🤣

When our parts get riled up, we can start to feel anxious, overwhelmed, or reactive.

Instead of fighting those feelings, try being kind to yourself.
Befriend those parts of you. Meet them with curiosity, compassion, and understanding.

Let them know you’re there.
Let them know you hear them.

Sometimes what our parts need most is to feel seen, safe, and cared for.
