A community based Mobile Wound Clinic, working alongside your GP, providing wound assessment, dressings, and ongoing care, encouraging effective wound treatment throughout the stages of the healing process. That is why the Golden Years care team Registered Nurses offer an in home, community based mobile clinic, providing qualified wound care to our local community. Situated in Bundaberg , Golden y

ears mobile wound care offers assessment and dressings, with the goal of encouraging effective wound treatment at all stages of the healing process. Dealing with both acute and chronic wound, a holistic plan will be designed by qualified nurses, to bring about the best healing outcomes. An assessment is important as all wound care must properly reflect the wound characteristics to enable high quality and effective management. The process of tissue repair or healing is extremely complex and unpredictable. Our team at Golden Years will work with you and alongside any other health professional involved in your care to develop a personalised, evidence based wound treatment plan. Referral is required from your General Practitioner, Specialist, or a community nurse. Referrals can be emailed to goldenyearscareteam@gmail.com. There is a consultation fee plus the cost of dressings. Please feel free to enquire when booking an appointment. For the elderly, we are also happy to work alongside your aged care provider.

It takes a few seconds to offload.. but months of pain and financial expense to heal! Nurses take the time to check your clients high risk areas for pressure!
