🧸☕ Pyjama Day 2025 – Morning Tea Fun! ☕🧸

On Friday 25th July, Access Recreation Bundaberg hosted a cosy Morning Tea in celebration of National Pyjama Day 2025 and what a wonderful morning it was!

Staff and participants came dressed in their comfiest PJs to raise awareness and funds for children in foster care, all while enjoying delicious treats, hot drinks, and great company.

From fluffy slippers to fun prints, it was heartwarming to see our community come together to support such an important cause in a relaxed and cheerful way.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning such a success! 💫

🔥 July Monthly BBQ with Chef Jade on the Grill! 🔥

Our July Monthly BBQ was a hit — and it was all thanks to one of our wonderful clients Jade, who took the lead with all the prep work and cooking on the BBQ! 🍴👨‍🍳

Jade did an amazing job getting everything ready for the group, serving up delicious food with confidence and care. It was a great day filled with full bellies, big smiles, and lots of laughter.

🗣️ Outstanding communication and reporting skills

👟 Meet Tomoya – Walking Australia with Heart

Yesterday, Bailey crossed paths with an incredible soul — Tomoya, all the way from Japan, who is walking from Cairns to Melbourne! 🥾

Yesterday also marked a special milestone — 2 months since Tomoya began his journey across Australia on foot. An inspiring reminder of dedication, adventure, and the beautiful connections we make along the way.

To help him on his way, Bailey’s support worker kindly gave Tomoya some water and noodles to fuel the next leg of his walk. A small act of kindness that goes a long way on a journey like his 💛
