💪 Client Win: Mike’s Comeback Story!

After a recent hospital stay, Mike faced a tough challenge—he was unable to stand or walk on his own.

With the support of our physios Ethan and Mitch, and a rehab plan that included hydrotherapy, home-based physiotherapy, and exercise-based therapy, Mike has shown incredible determination and resilience.

He recently achieved a huge milestone: taking his first unassisted steps! 👏

His mobility continues to improve each day, and we couldn’t be prouder of his progress.

At Rehab Wise Physiotherapy, we’re committed to delivering high-quality, personalised care—and that includes making sure our services reflect the time, expertise, and attention we dedicate to every session.

🗓 From 1st July 2025, we’ll be updating our fee schedule to better align with industry standards and the actual time spent during your appointment—particularly during initial consultations.

💬 What’s Changing?
🔹 Initial Consultations (45 mins): $105
🔹 Standard Consultations (30 mins): $95
🔹 Concession Rates: $95 (initial), $85 (standard)

📌 While our initial consultations have always run for 45 minutes—providing ample time to listen, assess thoroughly, and tailor your treatment plan—our pricing until now didn’t reflect this additional value.

This small adjustment helps us continue offering the high level of care you expect, while keeping up with rising operational costs and maintaining sustainable, quality service for our community.

🏉 Taylor’s Comeback Journey 🏉

Taylor sustained an ACL injury while playing touch football, which led to reconstructive surgery. Unfortunately, her first procedure was unsuccessful, requiring a revision ACL repair.

A proud representative of CQ Bulls and Bundaberg in touch, Taylor’s true passion has always been Women’s Rugby League. Now based in Brisbane, she’s contracted with the Wynnum Manly Seagulls in the BMD Premiership competition.

It’s been a challenging road—full of setbacks, second surgeries, and long rehab sessions. But through grit, perseverance, and a lot of hard work, Taylor has returned to playing high-level rugby league.

Big Win for Jamie!

One of Jamie’s main goals when he started physiotherapy with us was to get back into his own pool — and he’s done it.

After a lot of hard work and commitment to his rehab program, Jamie has achieved that milestone and even enjoyed a well-earned float with some pool noodles.

His mobility, strength, and confidence continue to improve, and we’re looking forward to seeing Jamie make the most of his pool over the warmer months.

Great work, Jamie — your persistence is paying off.

🎉 Client Win – Helen’s Journey! 🎉

We are thrilled to celebrate an incredible milestone with our amazing client, Helen B!

Helen has been working with our physiotherapy team for many years. From the early days of rehabilitation following her leg fracture, we’ve had the privilege of supporting Helen on her journey back to walking.

Through her unwavering commitment — attending regular physiotherapy sessions, participating in balance classes, and consistently completing her home exercises — Helen has made outstanding progress.

Recently, Helen has transitioned from walking with a forearm support frame to walking independently!
