Caring Hearts Ability Group – Weekly Update 🌟21/02/2026

Chinese New Year Celebration
This week's community lunch outing was especially special as we celebrated Chinese New Year. Participants enjoyed getting out into the community, sharing a delicious meal, and embracing the joy of celebrating cultures and traditions together.

Barista Master Class
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed participating in our Barista Master Class this week. Participants built skills, confidence, and independence while learning coffee-making techniques in a fun, hands-on environment. There were plenty of smiles and great coffees all around.

Morning Walks Around the Farm 🌿
Participants have been enjoying refreshing morning walks around the farm. These walks support wellbeing, gentle exercise, and social interaction, providing a calm and positive start to the day.

Friday Barbecue
Everyone enjoyed a fantastic Friday barbecue. Participants came together to share a delicious sausage sizzle, with plenty of smiles, laughter, and great social connection.

Animal & Pet Care
A very special part of our week was feeding and caring for Indi the pony and our troublesome goats, Sarge and Crafty. Participants showed kindness, patience, and responsibility while engaging in animal care activities.

Lucky Ducks Game
Our Lucky Ducks Game continued to bring excitement across the centre and farm. Participants loved spotting ducks hidden around the environment, matching colour stickers, and receiving small prizes.

Recycling Initiative
Participants continued collecting recycling cans to help contribute towards the costs of our 3-D Printing Workshop. Thank you to everyone supporting this initiative.

Botanical Gardens Easter Hunt
We will be holding our Easter Hunt at the Botanical Gardens on Thursday, 2 April. Participants will enjoy a fun day of exploration, teamwork, and Easter surprises. Please bring a plate of lunch to share.
