• 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 supports you to understand and use your plan, coordinate services, build independence, and stay connected to your community.

• 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is designed for more complex situations and provides higher-level support.

Your Support Coordination can also focus on specific goals in your plan, such as finding suitable home and living supports, with guidance from experienced coordinators.

Today is World Braille Day, marking the birthday of Louis Braille, the man who, at just 15 years old, invented a system that changed the world for people who have lost their sight or have low vision.

NDIS New Planning Framework
Big changes are on the way for the NDIS, but not just yet. The new planning framework has deferred its roll out to mid-2026 to give more time for smoother delivery and less disruption for participants.

The focus remains the same: a fairer, simpler system that’s built to last and supports people with disability today and into the future.

For now, your current NDIS plan continues as usual. We’ll keep sharing updates so you know what’s coming and when.

Your Support Coordinator is here to help you make sense of your NDIS plan. That means making sure you understand:

✔️ Your budgets — how your funding is broken down and what types of supports and services you can use it for

✔️Gentle ways to keep your joints happy:
✔️Try short daily walks, even around the house or garden
✔️Gentle stretches while seated or standing
✔️Low-impact activities like recreational swimming or cycling
✔️Using mobility aids confidently — they’re tools for independence, not limits

If moving on your own is difficult, supported movement or guided physio can help keep joints flexible and ease stiffness

💧 Staying hydrated does more than quench your thirst:
👍Supports joint health — especially important if you live with arthritis
👍Helps medications work better and reduces some side effects
👍Keeps your skin fresh and your energy up
👍Prevents dizziness and fatigue, especially in hot weather

The Australian Government has announced Thriving Kids, a new program starting 1 July 2026, designed to better support children aged 8 and under with mild to moderate developmental delay and autism outside of the NDIS.

This program will:
✔️Focus on early identification of developmental concerns
✔️Build on existing community and mainstream services such as child health, GPs, early learning and schools
✔️Be shaped with input from experts, families, and states and territories
✔️Roll out in phases from mid-2026
✔️Children with permanent and significant disability will continue to be supported by the NDIS.
