Serenity Now says good bye to Belle today, who is off on her next adventure Belle has been with us for 5 years , first as a therapy assistant and then as an OT. SNP has really come to value the importance of an employee you can trust, shows commitment, ethical behaviour and integrity and Belle has shown all of these characteristics in her years with us. We will miss you Belle and so will the kids❤️

AAPi President Sahra O'Doherty appeared on Weekend Today to discuss NAPLAN testing and provide advice for parents on ways to support their children as they sit the tests.

Sahra spoke about ways to manage anxiety, gave tips on preparing children for the tests and how to put things in perspective should children be stressed.

FASD is often referred to as a ‘hidden disability’ as it often goes undetected, whether it is overlooked, ignored, attributed to another cause or even simply blamed on ‘poor’ parenting or the environment in which the child is living.

Assessment and diagnosis of FASD is important as it can provide answers for families and improve access to services that are likely to improve life outcomes.
