Meet Bonnie the healing cat.
You might not get to see her because she is a bit shy and flighty.
Occasionally she comes in to supervise a class. Sometimes she sits in on a consultation (or on a client). She canโ€™t resist a soft blanket.

You never know if she will be around but you can book a treatment or consultation for holistic health consultation by going to my website.

April saw me accomplishing some milestones:

๐ŸŒฟOn a professional level it was a challenging month of getting through the discomfort of practicing a new modality: Five Elements Acupressure.

Thank you to all the volunteers who assisted me in accomplishing over 25 sessions so far.

I loved the feedback during and after the acupressure sessions.

You have reported reduced pain in shoulders, back, feet and sciatica as well as better sleep.

Finding the tender acupressure points on different bodies has been surprising and educational. There were some amazing instances where you confirmed the theory of the five elements and the 12 meridians. It proved to me that I was on the correct spot and the right path.

โžก๏ธOnline bookings for paid sessions are now OPEN!

๐Ÿ’š On a personal level it was primarily a physical challenge that I signed up for recently.

I have decided to go for a long bike ride with a local group of adventurers.

It was a challenge since I havenโ€™t ridden a bicycle for over 10 yearsโ€ฆ

For several weeks I have trained riding a mountain bike. This experience took me far outside my comfort zone. It challenged much more than just my fitness.

Beyond the sore buttocks, bruised legs and increased heart rate, learning new physical skills also involved feeling scared, vulnerable and out of control. It was a reminder that being new at something can be exciting and rough experience.

Thanks to my private coach, Greg, who adjusted one of his mountain bikes for me, I was able to gradually gain confidence, ride better and go for longer distances.

And I did it: at the end of April I was able to complete 35kms ride at the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.

We had beautiful weather enjoying the green hills and brown cows, the golden horses and laughing Kookaburras, the occasional Bell bird and towering ancient grass trees.

I managed to ride through some of the steep dips along the path before turning around at Benarkin. We then zoomed down the trail back to camp while other riders continued to the town of Blackbutt.

At the end of the ride I felt accomplished and satisfied with my efforts.

With Easter and Passover here, I find myself reflecting on the comfort of cycles,

the way nature keeps moving,
the tides rising and falling,
the moon waxing and waning, no matter what.

A quiet reminder that weโ€™re allowed to soften,
to reset,
to begin again.

And in that spirit of renewal,

Iโ€™ve just completed Level 1 of Five Elements Acupressure ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŒโš”๏ธ
and Iโ€™m offering free sessions for a limited time.

This is a gentle, grounding practice that works with the bodyโ€™s energy pathways (meridians), supporting the natural flow of Chi and bringing the five elements back into balance.

Helping your system release, recalibrate, and come back to itself.

Right now, Iโ€™m focusing on:
โ€ข Head, neck & shoulder tension
โ€ข Lower back & pelvic support

If your body has been holding a lot lately, this could be a supportive place to land.

You can find the booking link in the first comment๐Ÿค

Enjoy the changing seasons, Tamar.

๐ŸŒฆ๏ธโ›…With everything happening in the world, including the recent floods here in Bundaberg itโ€™s natural to feel overwhelmed at times.

In order to โ€œget on with life,โ€ many of us (including myself) push those feelings aside. We might scroll for hours, reach for comfort food, pour a drink, or keep ourselves constantly busy. This is ok for the short term. We all need a break.

Over the long term, though, our emotional health depends on giving those feelings some space. When we acknowledge whatโ€™s present and allow emotions to move through us, theyโ€™re less likely to get stuck in the body or show up in our patterns and behaviours.

There are many ways to express emotions.

One of my favourite ways of expressing and processing emotions is through art. Thatโ€™s why I created the Inner Studio workshop.
We had two sessions so far and it has been a wonderful nourishing experience.

Inner Studio is a three-hour, Sunday morning workshop offering permission to express and explore your emotions through creativity.

Using gentle mindful movement and breath, art journaling, reflective writing, and guided meditation, youโ€™ll be supported to explore what you are feeling while making art and craft.

๐Ÿ–๏ธNo artistic experience needed.
๐Ÿ–๏ธNo pressure to share.
๐Ÿ–๏ธNo need to know what youโ€™ll discover.

Iโ€™m opening expressions of interest for a new group (only 3 spots available).

If this sounds like a beautiful way to spend a Sunday morning, send me a private message saying โ€œIโ€™m interestedโ€ and Iโ€™ll share the details with you.

Welcome to the Inner Studio where we explore emotions through creativity. If youโ€™re interested, DM me for more details.

๐Ÿงฉ๐Ÿงฉ๐Ÿงฉ One of the most important things Iโ€™ve learned through my own healing and my work with clients is this:

You have to feel it to heal it.

True healing isnโ€™t forceful.
Itโ€™s gentle, honest, and body-led.

If youโ€™re curious to explore this approach, Iโ€™m offering a free ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฅ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐˜ training and SIT tool.

If youโ€™ve tried many things and still feel stuck, this might be important to hear.

Your body isnโ€™t failing at healing.
Itโ€™s responding to something it learned long ago.

Chronic pain, emotional reactivity, burnout, none of it is random.

Iโ€™ve created a free ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฅ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐˜ training to help you begin understanding the original pattern your system is protecting.

๐Ÿ’œ Iโ€™ve been working in natural health for over 12 years, and one thing has become very clear to me.

Most of us were never taught how to understand what our body is trying to tell us, only how to push through or manage symptoms.

๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰ To celebrate my new website, Iโ€™ve created a free offering called ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฅ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐˜ to help you gently explore where pain, patterns, or emotional struggles may have started.

Comment ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ and Iโ€™ll send you the link.

15/01/2026

๐ŸŒฟAfter more than 12 years working in natural health, Iโ€™ve seen this again and again:

People arenโ€™t stuck because theyโ€™re doing healing wrong.
Theyโ€™re stuck because no one ever showed them how to listen to why their body is creating pain, tension, or emotional overwhelm.

Your body isnโ€™t broken.
And itโ€™s not sabotaging you.

Itโ€™s responding intelligently to experiences that once required protection.

๐ŸŽ‰ To celebrate the launch of my new website, Iโ€™ve created a free gift called Reveal the Root โ€” a short training and a gentle SIT based tool to help you uncover where your patterns actually began.

If this resonates, comment ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ and Iโ€™ll send you the link ๐Ÿค

Lighting the second candle of Hanukkah (the candle in the centre is not getting counted as it is the one that lights the others).

Two flames that represent duality, diversity and the power to bring light into the darkness.

This is to affirm my trust in humanity and our capacity for compassion.

Thank you to everyone that got in touch with kind words and a hug today โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน
