Shoutout to J.R! 🌟 He’s on fire, crushing his goals left and right! Whether it’s exploring the community, pumping iron at the gym, or reeling in monster fish, J.R’s determination is inspiring! 🐟🏋️‍♂️

And if that’s not enough, he’s also thriving at his job with Woolworths, thanks to the support of his awesome support worker Rob! 👍

But what really gets us excited is J.R’s passion for giving back. He’s participating in our Starlight Foundation charity tipping competition, and our current total is a whopping $710! 🎉

We’re thrilled to announce that TMA Disability Support Services is proud to sponsor the United as One Danny Tanner Memorial Team at the upcoming Queensland Murri Carnival! 🏉

This incredible team, founded by Uncle Kenny Freeman, pays tribute to the late Danny Tanner, who touched the lives of many in our community. The team’s jerseys are designed by talented Indigenous artist Kailum “Buddha” Freeman, a skilled footballer and emerging leader among our youth. 🙌

The Queensland Murri Carnival is a fantastic event that showcases sporting and health opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, while also promoting cultural connection and family ties. 🤝

We’re passionate about supporting initiatives that empower Indigenous youth and promote health and wellbeing. The QMC’s emphasis on ensuring all players have updated health checks and consistent school attendance aligns with our values, and we’re excited to see the team thrive. ❤️

TMA would like to wish the best of luck to all the coaches, players and volunteers involved and the TMA team are right behind you! 🌺

This superstar has been crushing his goals left and right! 🤩
Not only has he been mastering new cooking skills with Support Worker Rob (Foz), whipping up delicious meals for himself and his mum Kel, but he’s also been putting in the work on his fitness, clocking over 10km of walking per week in impressive times! 🏃‍♂️👏

And if that’s not enough, J.O’s also been working on his road awareness skills with Support Worker Tommy, taking his independence to the next level! 🚶‍♂️💡

Z.L has been loving the school holidays and has been enjoying getting out and about with Support Workers Hiedi and Austin. ❤️

Z.L has become a local at our hub in the afternoons and has been building great friendships with others, engaging in conversations and ofcourse fun activities. 😎

Using TMA family-owned properties, W.B has been getting behind the wheel and honing his skills to become a road-ready rockstar! 🤩

Today, we celebrated Numeracy and Literacy in style! 🎉
Our very own local war enthusiast, R.P, put his knowledge of Gallipoli to the test. Support Worker Tommy and R.P’s mum Kristi presented R.P with a challenge, and he rose to the occasion with flying colors! 🌟

R.P showcased his skills by answering questions on Gallipoli and tracing letters to build his answers. We’re beyond proud of his incredible effort and continued progress. The whole TMA team is cheering him on! 🎊

To cap off the morning, R.P enjoyed a visit to the beach and even shared his excitement about participating in our upcoming Starlight Foundation fundraiser on the drive there. We’re thrilled to see his enthusiasm and can’t wait to support him in all his endeavors! 🌟 Keep shining, R.P! ✨”
