J.G has been absolutely on fire and we couldn’t be more proud! 🌺

J.G has been getting on the tools building our TMA Yarning Bench, J.G has been completing services with Staff members Nash and Bizza on cars as well as learning how to change break pads ⚒️

J.G has also been learning how to do fencing and using power tools! 🧰

J.G you are an absolute legend we are so proud of you! 👏

J.G has also thrown his hand up to participate in our charity footy tipping competition to support the starlight foundation. Our current total is $600! 🌺

T.J has been absolutely on fire 🔥

This week T.J ventured to Brisbane with the League Ability Bundaberg Crew and played at the All abilities Gala Day in Brisbane! 🏉

T.J played with and against some incredible players and was cheered on by NRL and NRLW superstars! T.J even walked away with a player of the match trophy! 🏆

T.J has been smashing it this year and we are so proud of him, T.J has even thrown his hand up for our charity football tipping competition that raises much needed funds for the starlight foundation. Keep up the great work T.J 🌺

Group project completed 🔥

Today our champions got on the tools and built a fantastic Yarning bench. This project was made from recycled timber which gives our champions the opportunity to get hands on experience in our Work Shed. ⚒️

This isn’t just recycled timber though, this is a place for champions to receive support on their mental health and any challenges that may be present. 🙌

We are so proud of the champions for continuing to do amazing things 🌺

Learning new skills through music! 🎶

The TMA Hub has turned into a rock and roll bonanza with staff members Dan and Layton using there skills to teach our champions how to play guitar! 💪

Learning to play an instrument improves cognitive function including memory and concentration! It also supports stress reduction, enhanced fine motor skills and increases creativity! 👏

Here’s a picture of Tank and Dan learning new chords and having their first ever jam session! 🎸

Tank has participated in our charity fundraisers this week as we raise money for the starlight foundation ❤️

Positivity through sport 🏉

D.H has been smashing his goals as of late and we couldn’t be prouder!, D.H has been participating at Gidgee Knives with the help from support worker Tumeli and has begun forging his very own knife! 💪

D.H has also been participating in League Ability which has positively supported his teamwork skills and fitness goals! 👏

But it doesn’t stop there! D.H has also been smashing his social goals! Introducing himself to other champions, asking questions about there day and building friendships! It’s amazing to see his hard work and his improved confidence! 🙌

D.H has even thrown his hand up to participate in our TMA X Starlight foundation fundraiser! Our current total is $440! D.H has also requested we give a massive shoutout to his favourite team the wests tigers! 🐯
