Who has heard of probiotics for newborns?

Some babies have more sensitive tummies than others — showing up as wind, unsettledness or colic-type symptoms.

There is growing research around certain probiotic strains that may help support gut health and reduce crying and discomfort in some babies.

They’re simple to give and, when used appropriately are safe for babies.

If you have a newborn (or one on the way), it can be worth exploring whether probiotics might be helpful for your little one

Looking after your mental health doesn’t have to mean big, overwhelming changes

It’s often the small, consistent habits that make the biggest difference.

Eating proper meals, getting enough rest, moving your body, talking to someone, switching off from social media… it all matters.

And some days?
Self-care might look like going to bed at 6pm and leaving the dishes for tomorrow — and that’s okay.

You don’t have to do all 7 things every day… but even choosing one is a step in the right direction

You deserve to feel supported, rested and well too

Supporting your baby’s development doesn’t need to be complicated

It’s not about fancy toys or doing everything “perfectly” — it’s about simple, everyday moments of connection and play.

Talking, cuddling, tummy time, letting them explore… it all adds up

These small, intentional interactions help build your baby’s communication, movement, problem solving and social skills — all through things you’re probably already doing.

You are your baby’s best teacher

FREE Infant Sleep Support Program

I am looking for up to 3 families with babies aged 0–3 months who are experiencing sleep concerns (day and or night) and are motivated to make gentle, responsive changes.

This program focuses on supporting your baby through the 4th trimester and helping them adjust to life outside the womb using realistic, developmentally appropriate strategies.

Suitable for breastfed and bottle-fed babies
Gentle, responsive approach
Completely FREE as part of my sleep consultant training

To apply, please send me a PM with:
Your baby's age and date of birth
What sleep challenges you are experiencing
Whether your baby is breastfed or bottle-fed
Any relevant background information

Please note: Babies must not have any active health concerns or unresolved weight gain issues unless they are being appropriately managed by your doctor, IBCLC or other healthcare professional.

Applications are only open until this afternoon, so please reach out soon if you would like to be considered.

Due to the high level of interest, only 3 families will be selected

As parents, we often put ourselves last - Meeting everyone else’s needs before our own…

But the truth is — we can’t pour from an empty cup.

Self-care doesn’t have to be big, expensive or time-consuming.
It doesn’t have to be massages or getting your nails done.

Sometimes it looks like:
-enjoying a warm cup of coffee (while it’s still hot)
- having a shower on your own
-stepping outside for some fresh air
- saying no

This week, have a think about one small thing you can do just for you.
Something that helps you feel even a little bit recharged.

You deserve that

Some days feel hard… because they are!

If your baby is crying, it doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong. Babies don’t come with a manual and sometimes they just need a little help to settle.

Check the basics – hungry, tired or dirty nappy?
Step outside for a reset
Try a warm bath
Skin-to-skin for comfort and connection

Simple things can make a big difference—for both of you.

You’re doing better than you think

Happy 7th Birthday, Fletcher

You teach me, you challenge me and you inspire me every single day.

You can light up a room and have a sense of humour far beyond your years. You’ve helped shape me into the mum I am today — and I’m still learning everyday from you.
Love you always my favorite 7year old ❤️

Often, it’s a huge shock to the system when you bring your baby home

They go from being a very sleepy newborn to suddenly waking more, needing support and learning the skill of sleep… and sometimes the reality vs expectations can feel very different.

If you’re in this stage — you’re not alone.

I honestly didn’t expect this… but it turns out there are ALOT of you in Bundaberg not sleeping

I’ve been completely overwhelmed (in the best way) over the past few hours by the number of beautiful families who have reached out for support. Thank you so much for trusting me with your stories.

Unfortunately, I’ll only be able to work with a small number of families for the volunteer spots. If you haven’t heard back from me yet, you will — I’m currently adding everyone’s details to a list that I’ll review alongside my mentor to make sure I get a good range of ages and concerns.

At this stage, I won’t be taking any more applications. However, if you are a mum of multiples, I would still love to hear from you.

No final decisions have been made yet — I’ve had over 70 applications already to work though.

I truly wish I could help every single one of you 🤍 Thank you again for reaching out and trusting me.
