Last week, the Quest for Life team had the privilege of delivering three deeply meaningful workshops in Bathurst, supporting individuals, practitioners, and the broader community to build resilience and emotional wellbeing.

💛 Thursday, 9 April
A resilience and wellbeing workshop with the Central West Women's Health Centre, creating a safe and supportive space for reflection, connection, and practical learning.

💛 Friday, 10 April
A workshop for domestic & family violence and community service practitioners—empowering those on the front line with tools to support both their clients and their own wellbeing.

💛 Saturday, 11 April
A free 'Your Life Matters' workshop for a very friendly and engaged audience. Gwen had this to say afterwards: "This was a comfortable, safe space with Kate – really present in the moment, actively listening and responding with empathy, wise counsel and most importantly humour! Yes, I do feel my life matters!"

Quest's 'Your Life Matters' workshops offer practical, evidence-based strategies to navigate life’s challenges and strengthen resilience.

WATCH THIS SPACE 👀... We’re excited to be expanding these workshops—offering 'Your Life Matters' sessions monthly in various locations across NSW.

🙏 A heartfelt thank you to the incredible team at the Central West Women’s Health Centre—Karen Boyde, Lorraine Murphy, Breanna Carmody, Alison Browett, Paula Cahill, Brittany (Nova) Hillard, and Michelle Graves—for your collaboration, care, and commitment to your community.

We’re delighted to share this special conversation with Quest for Life facilitator Bernadette Arena, as she speaks about our upcoming Living with Grief weekend program. 💛

In this video, Bernadette offers a compassionate insight into what the program is all about — and what you can expect when you take this important step towards healing.

The death of a loved one can feel overwhelming and deeply personal, but you don’t have to walk it alone. This nurturing weekend provides a safe and supportive space to gently explore your experience, connect with others, and discover practical tools to help you move forward with greater understanding and resilience. 🕊️

If you or someone you love is navigating b, this program offers a meaningful opportunity to pause, reflect, and begin to heal — at your own pace, and in a caring community. 🌿

📆 Our next Living with Grief weekend runs 8–10 May 2026, and places are still available.

You can help to change the story for women in need of healing...

With Mother’s Day approaching, many of us are reflecting on the women who care for everyone else — often while quietly carrying so much themselves. 🌸

At Quest, we meet women living with exhaustion, burnout, grief, trauma and chronic illness… women who have spent years supporting others, with little space to tend to their own healing.

From now until the end of the financial year, we’re raising $150,000 to help 50 women attend a life-changing 5-day residential program here at Quest — a space to rest, heal, reconnect and rebuild.

Because while women are so often the givers of care, they also deserve to receive it too.

When a woman heals, families are strengthened. Communities benefit. Lives change. 💞

If you’re in a position to give, we invite you to help through our 'Change the Story for 50 Women' appeal.

On the way out to Bathurst to deliver some amazing workshops, our team had a fantastic visit with the Road Trauma Support Group NSW yesterday! 🚗💛 Many of their members attend our residential programs, and we’ve valued this partnership over many years.

It was wonderful to spend time together at Grace’s Place — a beautiful, supportive space where children and families can access care following the loss of a loved one through homicide. We had meaningful conversations about how we can continue to support both their members and their dedicated team. 🌿

Over the next few days, the Quest team will be delivering the following in Bathurst:
• A resilience and wellbeing workshop for the Central West Women's Health Centre (Thursday)
• A workshop for domestic and family violence and community service practitioners (Friday)
• A free 'Your Life Matters' workshop for the general public (Saturday), offering practical tools to support emotional wellbeing and resilience

🔗 Bookings are still open for Saturday’s free workshop - we'd love to have you join us:

This last Tuesday evening, we had the privilege of connecting with the wonderful Moss Vale Rotary Club 💛

Our Partnerships Manager, Candice Piper (left), and Programs Team Leader, Wendy McDonald (right), shared the heart of Quest for Life—what we do, and how we support individuals and communities navigating grief, trauma, and life’s toughest challenges.

Through meaningful conversation, we explored how a holistic, compassionate approach can help people find strength, healing, and resilience—no matter what they’re facing.

We are so grateful to Rotary Moss Vale for the warm welcome and for their commitment to supporting community wellbeing. It’s through these connections that we can continue to reach those who need us most.

✨ Together, we are building stronger, more resilient communities.
