A little update: our Assistant Secretary Jordan will be taking some time off in January to welcome her new baby. Replies may be slower than usual, but she’ll get back to you when she can.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for last night’s Tourism Workshop in Bungendore.

Hosted by BCCI’s own Tilly Jones, the evening brought together local business owners, QPRC, and Destination Southern NSW for an insightful and forward-thinking conversation about the future of tourism in our town.

Key Highlights:
• QPRC and SNSW delivered excellent presentations, celebrating Bungendore’s Small Town Tourism Award and outlining broader regional strategies.
• Attendees engaged in open discussion around challenges, opportunities, and practical steps for strengthening tourism.
• Strong consensus emerged: collaborative, community-driven action is the way forward.

Key Outcomes:

A productive brainstorming session surfaced many ideas to enhance Bungendore’s tourism offering.

The group agreed to form a new special-interest group: Team Bungendore, a collaborative network focused on amplifying local tourism initiatives.

A WhatsApp group has now been created to continue discussions and coordinate next steps.

🌿 Tourism Workshop – Bungendore Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Bungendore Chamber of commerce and Industry (BCCI) invites members and local businesses to join us for a Tourism Workshop focused on strengthening our town’s visitor economy.

Tilly Jones will be hosting the session and welcoming guest speakers to share insights into the Bungendore Small Tourism Town Award - why it mattered, and how it has shaped our collective approach to promoting Bungendore.

This workshop is designed to:

• Provide a positive platform for BCCI members and visitor economy businesses
• Encourage open discussion and collaboration
• Build a more united strategy for showcasing our town

Whether you’re directly involved in tourism or contribute to Bungendore’s vibrant business community, we’d love to see you there.

Community Service Award: Linray Finance & Mortgages – recognised for more than 30 years of dedicated service, community support and genuine care for local clients.
