Your nervous system is always listening.

Not just to physical stress… but to the way you think, respond, and move through life.

Many people don’t realise that patterns like these can quietly keep the nervous system in a constant state of tension:

• Perfectionism
• People pleasing
• Avoiding conflict
• Self criticism
• Over-analysing everything
• Constant doing without rest
• Comparing yourself to others

Over time, these patterns can keep the body stuck in survival mode instead of allowing it to feel safe enough to rest, heal, and regulate.

When the nervous system is dysregulated, the body may begin to express this through symptoms such as fatigue, pain, tension, anxiety, digestive issues, or feeling overwhelmed.

Your body isn’t broken.
It’s communicating.

When we create safety within the nervous system, the body can begin to release stored stress and return to a more balanced state.

This is why supporting the nervous system is so important for overall wellbeing.

✨ Your body already knows how to heal. Sometimes it just needs the right environment to do so.

If you’re curious about how Spinal Flow supports the nervous system, feel free to reach out or send me a message.

Sometimes stepping away is exactly what the nervous system needs. 🌿

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately as I took some time to travel, reset, and soak in some beautiful moments with family and nature.

Taking that space reminded me of something I often share with my clients…
Our bodies aren’t designed to constantly be “doing.”
They need moments to pause, breathe, and recalibrate.

Now I’m back in the clinic and feeling refreshed, grounded, and ready to support those who are on their own healing journey.

For anyone who may be feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or stuck in stress patterns — your body has an incredible ability to regulate and heal when given the right support.

I’m looking forward to sharing more education, insights, and nervous system wisdom with you all again.

Thank you for being here 🤍

This week, we will speak about the Winsor Autopsies and how this study shows that spinal blockages create stress, dis-ease, and illness in the body.

Do You Feel Safe in Your Body?

Your body should be a place of ease, strength, and stability. But when you’ve been carrying deep stress, trauma, or tension, it can start to feel unfamiliar or even unsafe.

If you relate to any of the following, you may have a Base Gateway blockage—an area at the base of your spine that affects your sense of security, movement, and overall well-being:

🔹 Ongoing anxiety or depression
🔹 Neurological issues affecting movement, sensation, or function
🔹 A constant feeling of being unsafe in your own body
🔹 A sense of “just getting by” rather than truly thriving

Why Does This Happen?

The Base Gateway, located at your coccyx (tailbone), carries nerve signals from your spine to your legs and feet. When blocked, it holds onto stored stress—often tied to survival instincts, past trauma, or a deep-seated fear of not being safe in the world.

There Is Relief.

At Flow2Heal Spinal Flow, we use the Spinal Flow Technique to help release this stored tension, restoring ease, safety, and flow throughout your body. Clients often experience:

✅ A deep sense of grounding and relaxation
✅ Improved nervous system function
✅ Emotional balance and resilience
✅ A shift from “survival mode” to thriving in life

You don’t have to live in a state of stress or unease. Your body wants to heal—let’s help it do just that.

Hope is NOW I have to share something that truly fills my heart… 🤍 Laurena Yorkowski, a Spinal Flow Practitioner in Nova Scotia, has been working with a client who was a quadriplegic for six years due to Lyme disease. His body was blocked—his hope was gone. But after three months of Spinal Flow, three times a week… he moved his legs. He lifted himself off the bed. He’s learning to kick. And most importantly—he believes in his healing again. THIS is why we do what we do. The body wants to heal. And hope is real and truly empowering.

Stress doesn’t just live in your mind—it lives in your body too, especially in your spine. When we experience stress, our nervous system shifts into fight-or-flight mode, causing muscles to tighten, posture to shift, and tension to build up. Over time, this can create spinal blockages, which disrupt the natural flow of energy and communication between the brain and body.

How Stress Affects the Spine:
1. Muscle Tension & Postural Changes – Stress causes muscles around the spine to contract, leading to poor posture, stiffness, and discomfort.
2. Nerve Interference – A tense, misaligned spine can compress nerves, affecting organ function, digestion, and even sleep.
3. Headaches & Fatigue – Chronic spinal stress can contribute to tension headaches, fatigue, and a sense of being “on edge” all the time.
4. Emotional Storage – The spine carries emotional memory; unresolved stress and trauma often show up as physical pain or stiffness, especially in the neck, shoulders, and lower back.

Releasing Spinal Stress

Through Spinal Flow, we gently release these blockages, allowing the body to shift into rest, digest, and heal mode. This helps restore posture, relax the nervous system, and promote overall well-being.

You don’t have to carry stress in your spine. Let’s work together to realign, release, and heal. 💫
