Introducing the Bush Stone Curlew, also known as Bush thick-knee, Weir-loo or Death bird…
Whatever you choose to call it it also carries many Spiritual messages. In many Australian Aboriginal cultures the Bush Stone Curlew was known as a Harbinger of death, a Guardian of ancestral spirits and a Communicator between worlds. Many believe it was given this name due to the eerie call it makes during the night, some say sounding like a “woman screaming”.😱

*Very interesting being known as a “communicator between worlds” as a young child not realising I was a Medium until older, but very appropriate as one of my Animal Totems.

Following on from yesterday‘s post about Animal Spirit Guides…

Recently I was in Yeppoon, a small coastal town in Central QLD, visiting my parents for Mother’s Day when this beautiful Bush Stone Curlew decided to make camp out the front of their house.

This bird for me was a comforting Animal Spirit Guide I used to have when I was growing up. They are a very shy and timid bird with a great deal of wisdom to pass on, it may sound silly but I felt overjoyed in being reconnected to it again ❤️

To get to where my M & D live right in town now they would have passed over 30 homes on the way, and the chances of them picking their home out of all the others was like 1000 to 1! I don’t believe in random events & their message was very relevant for me to hear and made my heart sing ❤️

They arrived 2 days before I left & and left the same day I did… another sign that confirmed to me Spirit had sent them for me and not for my parents.
