🍳 CHEF WANTED | Hillview Bunyip Aged Care
We are looking for a qualified Chef to help transform how we do food at Hillview.
This isn't institutional catering. We are building a restaurant-style dining experience where residents choose what they eat, seasonal menus actually mean something, and texture-modified meals look as good as they taste.
What we're offering:
• Casual to start, with real pathway to permanent as we expand
• Rostered shifts, no split shifts, weekend availability needed
• NFP salary packaging – take home more of your pay
• Free counselling for you and your family through our EAP
What you need:
• Qualified Chef with Cert III/IV Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
• 5+ years working as a Chef in professional kitchens
• A belief that older people deserve great food, not just "adequate"
Aged care experience is a plus but not essential – we can teach you the sector. What we can't teach is passion for cooking food that makes people's day better.
Hillview is a community-owned aged care home in Bunyip – we have been here since 1995 and we're growing. Beautiful country setting, genuine community feel.

Bunyip Patchwork & Craft and Friends of Hillview are holding their Annual Quilt Show. Enjoy Devonshire Tea 🫖🥮whilst you browse through the wonderful display of quilts and handmade items. $2 Raffle tickets can be purchased on both days (and from Hillview reception) with the raffle being drawn on Sunday afternoon.

The little kids from Birches Early Learning Centre Bunyip have been visiting our residents on a fortnightly basis to participate in fun activities like biscuit decorating, finger painting, balloon games, hockey pokey and more. Our residents have soo much fun with these precious little humans. Thank you for visiting and we will see you again very soon. 😘
