There's a childhood memory I have of chatting with my Mum as she drove on a road-trip where for hours we exchanged our beliefs, and shared thoughts on things we sense are real but can't prove. My whole life she was the biggest encourager for me to think outside the box which no doubt helped lay the foundations that led me to teach yoga.

She's now departed this plane and while I take time to grieve, yoga classes with me are on hold. When the time is right they will return and I'll post on here.

Please give your Mum & Dad a hug if you still have them ❤️

One of the things I love most about yoga is supporting awareness—something which can help during life’s more challenging moments.

Lately, I’ve been feeling the need to slow down and take care, so I’ll be finishing Wednesday classes a little early this term and pick back up on 15th October.

Thank you to the awesome people that show up for practice with me, it's a privilege to hold space for you!

Until then take good care of yourself and your loved ones ❤️

Hello 🙂 I'm looking to begin chair yoga classes in Brunswick in September - please message me or post below if you (or someone you know) is interested so I can find the day & times that suit best.

Chair yoga is a modified way for people with limited mobility or injury to gently stretch and encourage body awareness. A usual class involves movement, breathing and a short guided meditation.

Please let your friends or family that don't have Facebook know, and feel free to message with any queries!

Wearing layers is handy in case it gets cold in the hall! 😀

...wise words from

I do hear this every day from people and I understand that sometimes we all wonder, am I doing this right? - on the yoga mat but also in our everyday life!

In my opinion, as long as it feels OK, you're doing it right! The poses we do in a yoga class ideally help us to be aware of our body, in the present moment.

If we start comparing ourselves to the person next to us, or to what we did last week, we take ourselves out of the present.

If you want to beat yourself up and try for a PB, yoga may not be the best place for that. To practice self-acceptance, give yoga a try!
