Olive & Bee® was created by Claire Osterstock, an Australian Physiotherapist with a special interest in helping women with their pelvic health. Disappointed with the personal moisturising and lubricating products available, Claire, with a compounding pharmacist, developed a new, all-natural, intimate cream. Extra Virgin Olive Oil was chosen as a base, as it is naturally antibacterial and anti-fungal, and is high in antioxidants.

The product was formulated with Pure Beeswax, as this is a natural thickener with anti-inflammatory properties. Also, neither Olive Oil nor Beeswax will interfere with vaginal pH, and do not require a preservative.

Running on the beach is a great way to mix up your routine, but not all sand is equal!
Hard sand, especially near the waterline, offers a more stable surface and is easier on your joints. It’s ideal for longer runs or building endurance.
Soft sand adds extra challenge by working your stabiliser muscles and improving strength, but it’s also tougher on your calves and Achilles.

✅ Tip: Start on hard sand to build rhythm, then mix in short bursts on soft sand for added strength. And always watch your footing to avoid injury!

Movement Myths Busted - Sorting Fact from Fiction in Your Recovery

❌ MYTH: “Rest Is Always Best”
✅ TRUTH: Gentle movement can speed up recovery.

It’s a common instinct to rest completely after an injury, but in many cases, prolonged rest can actually slow your recovery and lead to stiffness, weakness, or delayed healing.

We guide you toward the right kind of movement and find the right balance—not too much, not too little. This might include light mobility work, targeted strengthening, or guided exercise under professional supervision.

❌ MYTH: “Pain Means Damage”
✅ TRUTH: Pain is a signal, not always a sign of harm.

Pain is complex. Sometimes it reflects tissue injury—but other times, it’s your brain’s way of responding to stress, fatigue, fear, or inflammation.

Persistent pain doesn’t always mean something is “broken” or “worn out.” Our physios are trained to assess pain holistically and help you build confidence in movement again.

❌ MYTH: “If I’m Not Sore, I Didn’t Work Hard Enough”
✅ TRUTH: Soreness isn’t the only sign of progress.

DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) is common after new or intense workouts, but you don’t have to feel sore to be improving. In fact, well-structured rehab and strength training aim to improve movement efficiency, not just create discomfort.
