As we age, our bodies lose elasticity, increasing the chance of injuring the soft tissues and bony structures. The body also loses some of its ability to recover from injuries or strains. Ageing can cause:

Poor balance
General stiffness
Back, neck and arm pain
Hip and knee pain and stiffness
Arthritis and joint swelling
Active ageing

Keeping mobile and active is the key to your health, happiness, and independence. It can also help to minimise the risk of falls, which can have serious consequences for your future health.

This is Felix. He is replacing Hannah for a while and we have full confidence in his demeanour and abilities. We tried to get another female practitioner but none were as good as Felix. Here is his bio:
Before moving to Australia, Felix worked as an osteopath in Bristol, UK. His passion for staying active through surfing and running fueled his interest in osteopathy after experiencing firsthand the benefits of treatment in his own recovery from injury. This personal journey has driven Felix to help others achieve pain-free movement and return to the activities they love.

Felix employs a structural and biomechanical approach to treatment, using a variety of hands-on techniques such as mobilization, massage, HVLA manipulation and Muscle Energy Techniques. He also integrates exercise prescription, lifestyle advice, and pain management strategies for when patients are outside the clinic. He is dedicated to helping his patients understand their pain or injury and works with them to develop a tailored management plan that aligns with their individual goals.

Before qualifying as an osteopath, Felix was a sports massage therapist. Since then, he has gained a variety of experience, including serving as the head consultant osteopath for Gordano Sharks Rugby Club. He has also consulted for Premier League football players and world champion Ironman distance triathletes. Despite these high-profile roles, Felix enjoys treating patients of all ages and enjoys the challenge of helping people achieve their goals, whether that means reducing pain or improving performance.

Many injuries, such as tennis and golfer’s elbow, are caused by overuse. Problems in other parts of your body, like weakness in the shoulder muscles or repetitive wrist and hand movements, may also contribute.

After listening to your health history and examining your elbow and surrounding areas, your osteopath will aim to identify the likely cause and tailor treatment to your needs.
