Listening to your body
Life can often demand a lot from us.
Sometimes the subtle changes in our health can indicate something is a bit out of balance. It might show up as changed bowel motions, restless sleep, low energy or mood, lighter periods, irritability, headaches or migraines, skin rashes or just feeling overwhelmed to name a handful.
Just as you would change the oil in your car, check your tyre pressure or get your car serviced, I invite your to do the same with your body.
Self care and health care arenβt just about seeing your doctor when youβre REALLY struggling.
Self care can include:
π a walk outside in the sun
π a few moments of intentional slow breathing
π turning off your devices to get an uninterrupted sleep
π resting intentionally, despite your massive to do list
π putting yourself first
π journaling to get your thoughts onto paper
Health care may involve:
π a Check up and blood tests with your GP
π a routine acupuncture appointment
π massage, osteo or chiropractic
π a counselling or therapy session
