I’m Tanya creator of Take a Bite nutrition
I’m a Dietitian, Nutritionist & Personal Trainer.
I have been in the fitness industry for 13 years and struggled with mainstream gyms and their approach to helping people through fitness and nutrition. So, I ventured out on my own and created DBD Fitness a small group and personal training gym. BUT it wasn’t enough, I hated the idea of gym challenges (hello they never work) but couldn’t quite put my finger on how to change it. So, I went to Uni to become a Dietitian to better understand how to help people make real behaviour change through not only now fitness but also nutrition.
What I do.
I don’t write meal plans (sorry but you don’t follow them), I don’t teach the next best diet, I don’t focus just on weight loss BUT what I do focus on is teaching you how to eat in the real world. NO diets, NO crazy restrictions, ALL food can be and should be enjoyed.
What I aim to bring to the table (😆) is affordable Dietetic services to people who are sick of the yoyo and want to make long term behaviour change through, private one on one consults OR group nutrition education programs. I also have a passion for HEALTH which means managing and preventing chronic disease (Prediabetes/Diabetes, High cholesterol, Hypertension) for both Men and Women (In fact I believe we need more Men’s focused health groups).
