We’re excited to officially introduce (and reintroduce!) Kyle Smith 👋

Kyle joined our Coastal team in 2025, but he’s certainly no stranger to Leap Health. After graduating, Kyle began his journey with us at our Kingston and Huonville clinics, where many of our clients and team members first got to know his passion for physiotherapy and patient care.

Since then, Kyle has continued to grow both clinically and professionally, bringing his experience and energy to our Coastal Physiotherapy team.

We’re also proud to announce that Kyle is now stepping into the role of Senior Clinician for Leap Health Coastal Physiotherapy 🎉

As part of this exciting transition, Scott and Simon will be progressing into other senior roles within Leap Health, continuing to exceptionally support our teams and clients across the wider network.

Please join us in congratulating Kyle on this well-deserved role 👏

We’re thrilled to have him leading the Coastal team into this next chapter!

To all our class attendees,

We're endeavouring to put you all at ease regarding the changes to the class procedure. Please note the following:

• We have had a number of very productive discussions with some of your fellow class attendees over the course of Friday and the weekend and understand that, for a number of very valid reasons, the proposed changes will need to be reviewed again.
• For this reason, for the term commencing this week, we will happily accept part payment for the term in increments of 3,6, or 12 week bundles.
• We will contact any participants that have paid the full 12 week term up front already to ascertain whether or not a part refund might be required to assist them with their budgeting for the remainder of the class term.

For clarity, the main reasons that we have been working to streamline the class procedure at Burnie are:
• To endeavour to keep the cost of the classes as low as possible to ensure all that want to attend are able to.
• To ensure the classes are able to continue to run regularly and sustainably into the future
• To endeavour to ensure that the participants who attend regularly throughout the year missing few or no weeks do not end up subsidising those who attend more sporadically.
• To ensure that our relatively new reception team are provided with a clear and easy to follow procedures rather than being expected to make on the spot/ad-hoc decisions regarding the classes on a daily basis.

We sincerely apologise for any angst caused by the proposed changes and acknowledge that more communication with you as participants would have been beneficial over the last few weeks.

We want to assure you that your concerns have been heard and as such we are planning to meet with a group of participants next Monday to discuss how we might best determine the optimal procedure for attendees, administration and the clinicians.

Our number 1 priority is to keep you guys enjoying attending your classes and all the social and physical benefits that go along with that.

We’ve updated our class structure and by doing doing so, we're aiming to provide a clear and consitent process for our pre-paid class packages which now run over 12 week term blocks.

Classes will run in 12 week blocks (rather than 6), with patients able to purchase one package per block.

Package options:
1 x class per week (over 12 weeks) = $264.00
2 x classes per week (over 12 weeks) = 528.00

Patients will no longer be asked for absentee dates or how many session they would like to attend.

Patients will be enrolled in the full 12 week term for their selected class.

Towards the end of each term, patients will be invited to re-enrol for the next term block.

This structure provides a clear enrollment cycle, making it easier for patients and admin staff to manage bookings and it ensures that our classes can continue to run effectively.

We thank you for your cooperation as we roll out this new structure as of tomorrow, Monday 23rd March 2026.
