A perfect day for a picnic lunch by the beach, even if we did have to battle the seagulls! 🧺🍟

Last week we visited the Australian Axeman's Hall of Fame in beautiful Latrobe to learn more about Tasmania's woodchopping history🪓🪵 We then enjoyed a delicious Thai lunch!

Our last Wisdom & Wonder intergenerational play session for the year was wonderfully festive! 🎁🎄🔔

There were Christmas crafts, games, and of course a Santa visit 🎅

We'll be taking a short pause from hosting the playgroup while we work through some logistics, and hope to be back up and running soon - we'll keep you posted!

We were sad to farewell a much-loved member of our team recently - the one and only Mark 'Obie' O’Brien! 👏👏👏

Obie worked at Umina Park for an incredible 33 years, including the past two years in the L&L team. He truly provided us with some amazing entertainment and laughs, as these pictures show!

We thank Obie for his remarkable career with us and wish him all the very best for his retirement. 🌟

🧸 One for the young and young at heart - this gentleman brought along his collection of more than 100 wind-up antique toys to share with us! 🐵

Many were familiar to our residents, bringing back wonderful memories.

☕Our new Umina Park cafe will be opening very soon - and we need your help!🍰

We're seeking volunteers to help us run this lovely space for residents and their families. Come along to our info session to learn more:
