With National Carers Week 2025 fast approaching (12-18 October 📌), we'd like to announce two Carer Expos happening in Launceston and Burnie!

These free events are a great way to discover support services for carers, carer resources and connect with other carers in your community.

If you’re a carer or simply interested, we’d love to see you there!

**Position: Casual Male Support Workers**

**Qualifications and Requirements:**
- Experience working with people with disabilities and providing personal care.
- Experience in manual handling (desired).
- Understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding regulations.
- loves outdoor (desired)

**We are looking for candidates who:**
- Are enthusiastic about supporting people with disabilities to live their best life.
- Complete thorough shift notes, log in and log out on time, and spend quality time with participants to help them achieve their goals.
- Are flexible with shift times (no sleepover no actives)
- Provide their availability when applying for the role.
- Have the ability to support others with personal care and domestic duties respectfully.
- Have the capacity to meet the physical requirements of the job, including manual handling tasks.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have a strong sense of accountability and confidentiality.
- Have completed the Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) – desirable but not mandatory.

**Successful candidates will be required to:**
1. Obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
3. Complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
6. Have or will obtain First Aid, and CPR Certification.
