Share Your Story. Leave a Legacy.

Our Biography Program offers a gentle, supportive space for people to reflect on their life, capture precious memories, and create a keepsake for loved ones.

A trained Volunteer will listen, record, and help shape the story.
The finished biography is presented to you at no cost.
You can include photos, recipes, poems, certificates, or other treasures.

This is more than a book — it’s a way to celebrate a life, honour experiences, and leave a legacy that lasts.

This week is Dementia Action Week, the theme this year is
‘Nobody can do it alone’. Our amazing Volunteers understand this and generously give their time to share companionship and connection with people living with Dementia, while also giving Carers the precious gift of a well-earned break. Maybe it is card playing, knitting or just being there with someone. Why not get in touch to see how we can offer support to you, or someone you know who may be living with Dementia.

R U OK?
A check in that matters. See the website for tips on how to have this conversation with someone.

All of us experience ups and downs in life. In tough times, it’s the support of family, friends and colleagues that can help us through. That’s why we’re calling on Australians to ask R U OK? when life happens.

Women’s Health Week Challenge!
This week, let’s celebrate the small steps that make a big difference to our health. We challenge you amazing females to do one thing each day that’s just for YOU – it could be a healthy meal, a short walk, a moment of mindfulness, or even calling a friend for a good laugh. Share a photo or tell us in the comments what you did today to care for yourself. (Tea in the garden? Fresh fruit for lunch? A nap? We’d love to see it!) Let’s cheer each other on and remind ourselves that caring for our health is not selfish – it’s essential.

It’s Women’s Health Week!
This week is all about prioritising your health and wellbeing. As women, we’re often so busy caring for others that we forget to check in with ourselves.

Tell us in the comments:
What’s your favourite way to look after your health?

🧘 A yoga or meditation session

🚶 A walk in nature

🥗 Cooking a healthy meal

📖 Taking time out to read or relax

💃 Dancing around the lounge room!

Your answer might inspire another Volunteer to try something new this week!

Every day, our Volunteers bring comfort, connection, and compassion to people living with a life-limiting illness—through visits, transport, shared activities, and a safe space filled with acceptance. Today we want to acknowledge our Volunteers and the calm and comforting presence they bring when life feels unpredictable and at times a little daunting.
