Family Based Care Tasmania is proud to co-host this yearโ€™s Vinnies Community Sleepout alongside the St Vincent de Paul Society North-West โ€“ a powerful night of connection, compassion, and community action.

Where: Marist Regional College
When: Thursday 21st August 2025
Time: 7:00pm โ€“ 7:00am

This special event raises awareness of homelessness in our region and supports vital local services. In 2025 alone, the NW Vinnies Van has already:
Served 3,535 meals to the local community
Supported 2,088 people through Emergency Relief
Shared 806 meals through Dining With Friends

From 2026, Vinnies will take the lead in running the NW Sleepout โ€“ a heartfelt thank you to our CEO Doug and the FBC team for their years of dedication.

Food on the Night:
The Vinnies Van will be serving soup, sandwiches, tea & coffee for dinner, and bacon & egg rolls for breakfast.

Practising self-care is one of the most powerful ways to support your mental health and overall wellbeing โ€“ especially when you're navigating challenges like injury, rehabilitation, or just the ups and downs of daily life.

Here are a few simple, evidence-based self-care ideas you can try today:

Physical Self-Care
Move your body in a way that feels good โ€“ whether thatโ€™s a walk, gentle stretching, or rehab exercises.
Rest when needed. Recovery is just as important as activity.
Eat nourishing food and stay hydrated.

Emotional Self-Care
