Burra Free Range Scholar Week 2018.
Australian and visiting international rural researchers and their students joined us in Burra for the final Free Range Scholar workshop series for 2018.
Our common research interests centre around the wellbeing, sustainability and future of small rural communities in sparsely populated areas.
Activities for the week included scholarly workshops in research skills, a Burra Town Hall meeting, and a field tour across Goyder's Line.
Most importantly, the Free Range program encourages new research collaborations, strengthening existing programs, and hopes to build the next generation of rural researchers who are as passionate about our places as we are.
