Stable Mind Equine Assisted Therapy has some amazing sponsors and supports of our charity.
This afternoon we had a delivery of a round bale of Rhodes grass hay donated by one of our sponsors CLC Fencing & Hardscapes . Thank you Chris and Sharni very much for your ongoing support, and our therapy donkeys also appreciate this donation.πŸ˜β€οΈπŸ‘
The hay was delivered, free of charge by another important sponsor Howard Landscape and Produce Supplies , thank you Brett.

Because of the recent crazy winter rains it's been difficult to have our participants visit our therapy horses and donkeys.
Now we have some sunny 😎 days Stable Mind Equine Assisted Therapy welcomed Emi and Natasha.
The first rule@ of any visit , according to "princess Piper" is she gets to be the first to greet our visitors❀️
Today Emi and I worked with big Ringer and Mac
We gave the boys a brush and were pampered by Emi.
Then we did flex and back up disciplines , after that Emi took Mac on a lead training obstacle course.
Emi as usual did a brilliant job and both Ringer and Mac were perfect gentlemen.

It is always pleasure to host Emi and Natasha, a very relaxing and positive session πŸ‘.

This afternoon we at Stable Mind Equine Assisted Therapy gave our therapy Clydesdales a well deserved pampering.
This ongoing wet weather has made it difficult for all our therapy horses and donkeys,so when we get a break in the weather it's important to we catch up with the care and maintenance of our of all our animals.β€οΈπŸ‘

Stable Mind Equine Assisted Therapy has some amazing therapy animals, but these two Clydesdales are the beautiful, gentle giants of our herd.
This afternoon my wife and I gave the brothers a bit of pampering.
They "ground tie" and just love the attention.
Of course the liquorice treats go down very nicely ❀️😁

This is my second attempt to post our charities appreciation to the Fraser Coast Regional council.
The directors of Stable Mind Equine Assisted Therapy are so very fortunate to have been successful in obtaining a grant to have a Web page designed, built and launched through the grants department of the Fraser Coast Regional Council.
It's also important to thank Michael Sherry Web Design and Digital Marketing for designing, building and launching our new Web site.
A big thanks goes to Lisa and Kerry from GrantsPlus Consulting Pty Ltd
for your ongoing support and the work you do with the applications for our grants.

This morning Stable Mind Equine Assisted Therapy welcomed first time visitors Chase his mother and support worker Sonya with baby Octavia.
On our first visit with the family we had a meet and greet with our therapy horses and donkeys.
As usual my service dog Piper and our golden retriever Finn had to greet the guys first.
Then we met Ringer, Mac and king.
After that it was Mousey's turn to greet the family, and she was brilliant, kind, respectful and gentle.
Lastly our therapy donkeys got to say hello.
I think Chase loved Mousey and the donkeys however Sonya and Octavia loved meeting all our therapy animals, you couldn't wipe the smile off Octavia's face .

This morning our garden reception area at Stable Mind Equine Assisted Therapy was set ready for our visitors Emi and Mia.
It's always a pleasure to host these guys and of course first up Emi and Mia had to say hi to my service dog Princess Piper 😁.
Then Emi and I worked with our beautiful mare Mousey.
We started with lead training, then worked in a small obstacle course, leading on Mousey's left and right side.
Emi did a great job and continues to show confidence as a horse handler. Well done Emi .πŸ‘
Then we visited Mac and King, Mac just loved being pampered by Emi.❀️

I would like to also make mention of two local businesses that have supported our charity since our inception.
We have donation tins at Howard Landscape and Produce Supplies and the Burrum Tavern and after empting the tins we were able to bank $400.00 in support of the care and welfare of our therapy horses and donkeys.
On behalf of the directors of Stable Mind thank you to both of these wonderful local businesses for your ongoing support and also to everyone who has donated.

Another incredibly uplifting training session at Stable Mind Equine Assisted Therapy. This afternoon, our mini goats Skip and Jump, along with my service dog "Princess" Piper 🐢, showcased truly remarkable progress. The challenge of walking up the road, fostering interspecies trust and bonding, and working on loose leads was met with absolute brilliance from all. This experience powerfully reinforces my conviction that, with dedication, trust, and patience, we will develop exceptional therapy animals that will support positive change.

As part of our ongoing training with our therapy horses and donkeys at Stable Mind Equine Assisted Therapy , this afternoon my wife and I took our therapy donkeys for a walk up the road for a bit of exercise.
Deigo, Quavo and Riff-Raff loved their little outing and were very relaxed.
These guys are very special therapy donkeys and give so much happiness to our visitors.😁

Firstly, Stable Mind Equine Assisted Therapy is very appreciative of our wonderful sponsors and supporters of our charity. On Friday our most recent sponsors CLC Fencing & Hardscapes donated $300 credit with Howard Landscape and Produce Supplies for feed in support of our therapy horses and donkeys. Thank you so much Chris and Sharni for that incredibly kind gesture.
Secondly, ongoing training is so important with therapy animals, building trust is essential.
This afternoon my wife and I worked with our mini goats Skip and Jump along with my service dog "Princess" Piper. We ventured up the street, the challenge was to have interaction between interspecies
comfortably.
It went fantastically well and I'm so proud of Piper who took it in her stride.❀️

On Tuesday Stable Mind Equine Assisted Therapy was invited to Anglicare Southern Queensland aged care facility at Kirami, Point Vernon, Hervey Bay.
The residents and staff of Kirami held an arts and craft show with the proceeds from the sale of their hard work being donated to our not for profit charity.
Therapy horses King and Mousey were the stars in support of this special occasion and were, as always very well received.
Today my service dog Piper and I met with Lorna to receive a massive donation of $1156.50 raised from the sales of the beautiful art and craft done by the residents and staff of Kirami.
At Stable Mind we are so very fortunate to have some fantastic supporters/sponsors of our charity, but to be resipients of this special event is quite humbling, in fact I have to admit I am quite emotional writing this post.
On behalf of the directors of Stable Mind a huge thank you to Lorna (Diversional Therapist) and her staff and importantly the residents of Kirami for making this event so successful.
I was also supported on Tuesday by our wonderful volunteer horse handler, Amelia, I don't know what I would do without you as our "go to therapy horses/donkey handler" thank you.
