Research has found that people with gastrointestinal issues, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), are more likely to experience mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. These mental health issues can exacerbate tinnitus, making it more challenging for people to tolerate the ringing or buzzing sound in their ears.

Furthermore, tinnitus can also cause anxiety and stress, which can further exacerbate gut health issues, creating a vicious cycle. The gut-brain connection is a complex relationship, and it is essential to maintain a healthy gut to promote good mental health.

⭕️Therefore, it is crucial to take care of gut health through a balanced and healthy diet, regular exercise, and stress management techniques such as meditation or deep breathing exercises. This can improve overall wellbeing and in turn easing the process of tinnitus habituation by reducing the negative reactions to tinnitus.

Here is a very important post from us for all of you ,who want to understand how just a little sound (tinnitus) in our ears (if not managed early, if not given the due attention by the right professional) can trigger the thoughts of self harm and ***de.

THE JOURNEY by which TINNITUS BECOMES a PROBLEM 🆘 AFFECTING MENTAL HEALTH.

A new sound 🎼from the auditory nervous system activates the limbic system(emotional part of the brain) and Autonomic Nervous System(ANS). 🧠

The initial activativation of these non auditory systems produces a relatively mild reaction.

If the new sound is familiar, significant and repetitive it results in gradual increase of the reaction from the Limbic system & the ANS.

If the sound is considered safe- the reaction is postive. However, if the sound is perceived to be a threat or unsafe - the reaction is negative.
