At AHAS Hearing Aid Services we provide Hearing Aid Assessments, Tympanometry, Speech Tests and Acoustic Reflex Tests. We offer a wide range of services and will cater a hearing care package to suit your needs, by fitting and programming your hearing aids, and offer free aftercare with rehabilitation. Please call us to find a location near you to book in for a hearing test. We offer free testing to eligible pensioners and DVA's patients under the Office of Hearing Services scheme call us to find out if you qualify. Hearing Awareness Week 2012 is just around the corner, why not call us now to book in for a free screening test and take this special opportunity to invite your friends and family for a free hearing check as well. Fiji 2024

Another successful trip seeing well over 100 clients from all over Fiji.

Now the task of ordering hearing aids, earmoulds, programming hearing devices and packing all our orders to be shipped over in the next few weeks.

Our team at AHAS Hearing Aid Services wishes to thank you all for your support, prayers and donations made to help us make a difference to those in need.

Day 3 and our final day in Labasa.

We spent our last day at My Lab in Labasa today and saw 25 people. We also had the media turn up to do a piece on the work that we do and to hopefully bring more awareness to hearing care for the community.
We had a lovely lunch at The Good Times Bar and Grill then went to a Fijian restaurant for dinner called Takia Hotel Restaurant. The food was delicious and a beautiful spread was put on for us. We can’t thank the LIONS CLUB of Labasa enough for your help to make this trip happen and your hospitality. A special thank you goes out to Hazeem Hussein, Zaheen, Rizwan, Subhash and Toufiq once again, our Team couldn’t have done it all without your help. And to the lovely Roshni Prasad for helping out with admin the last two days thank you 🙏🏻

Day 2 -Labasa (pronounced Lambasa) Fiji

What a day. We started our day at 4.30am today as we had to be at Nadi (pronounced Nandi) Airport at 5am. We caught two planes this morning to get to work…can’t quite get my head around that haha 😊 the agriculture here is amazing with beautiful views of all the farming areas from above and all the magnificent Islands you can see from the plane along the way. Such a beautiful place. We finally made it to Labasa and the first thing that stood out to me was the amount of Sugar Cain the trucks are able to carry and the hustle and bustle of daily living with the Main Street being quite busy.
We only had one clinician testing today our wonderful Nasif Mohammed but we still managed to get through 25 people for hearing tests. Tomorrow is another day in the same clinic with possibly around 25-30 ppl. Word of mouth gets around the villages so we could likely have more. We will see!
Thank you once again to the Lions Club in Labasa and to the staff who work at the My Lab for their help in facilitating the clinic and their additional help organising our day. We will be back tomorrow.

Bula from Ba
Day 1 of our Charity Trip….we started our trip in Ba at the Brijag Apartments around 10.30am this morning as we were delayed on the trip over from Nandi. There were already around 40 ppl waiting to be seen. These lovely people travelled from far away to make the trip today and were waiting under an awning in the 31 degree heat. They were so very grateful to see us. We had a quick 15min lunch break then the afternoon shift filled the same spots that were waiting in the morning. Our day ended at 7.30pm and then made the one hour or so trip back to our hotel in Nandi. It was a very productive day and we managed to see 85 ppl today. A massive thank you to the Ba Lions Club for organising the venue, the beautiful clients and lunch for today and the Pineapple Fanta 😋. A special thank you to our good friend Sevanaia Ratumaitavuki Tukana who is an Audiometrist and has a clinic in Ba called Advanced Eye and Ear. Without your help today we could not have gotten through this many people. We are very grateful once again for your help. Here are some photos of today. We were unable to take more photos as we were run off our feet but there were so many happy faces and we were all constantly receiving their blessings. Honestly for us it is a blessing that we are able to be here and make a difference to so many lives. Thank you Ba for having us 😊

We are now a fully Registered NDIS provider!

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) offers government support for people with disability, their families and carers.

AHAS Hearing Aid Services is now fully registered with NDIS allowing us to provide hearing services to those eligible.
