SIA Medical and Specialist Centre Burwood is conveniently situated on the Burwood Highway, right opposite Presbyterian Ladies' College. We have dedicated doctors, onsite pathology and soon to have pharmacy, radiology and other allied health services. The Essendon Centre has been open for over 22 years and is located in the heart of Essendon, approximately 10km from the CBD. The Centres are open 7 days a week for your convenience and can accommodate patients requiring urgent, same day consultations. New patients are always welcome. SIA Medical Centre Essendon offers 16 experienced General Practitioners (both male and female) and two Division 1 Nurses. Our GP’s also have a special interest in Diabetes Management, Chronic Disease Management, Acupuncture and Natural Therapies, Pregnancy and Womens’ Health, Mens’ Health and Travel Medicine. Sia Medical Centre Footscray opens in April 2015. SIA Medical Centre offers a range of other facilities available onsite:

During COVID, SIA Medical was quick to realize the pressures put onto our Receptionists with the volume of calls and enquiries. On top of their normal tasks whilst providing a very important first impression to our patients, we knew we had to provide them with more support. This led us to investing in a remote team in the Philippines! 🥂🌏

The last few years have shown the power of collaboration between our On-Site and Offshore Teams, proving that distance is no obstacle to delivering compassionate healthcare. We were very excited to host a concurrent end-of-year Christmas Party for our remote teams in their relevant locations. 🎄🎁

Our remote teams play a very important role in supporting our Practice Managers to run their sites. We aim to remove as much basic administration off our teams so that they can focus on our patient and GP experiences.

We’re always on the lookout for team members who fit our values. If this sounds like something you’d like to be involved with, please reach out! 🌟💼

By opening our doors to Students, we contribute to their growth and support the future of quality patient care. We put value on fostering Knowledge, Collaboration, and a shared commitment to Healthcare Excellence!

We welcome Nursing Students from Box Hill Institute to our centers, where they observe and train to gain invaluable real-world experience in an actual clinic setting, participating in treatment room activities and understanding key processes such as Care Planning and Health Assessments. 🏥📚

This hands-on learning opportunity bridges their theoretical knowledge with practical application, helping them build confidence and essential skills for their future careers.
