Congratulations to Joanne for being nominated for the 2026 Queensland Volunteer Awards.

This is the 11th year these awards have been running and the purpose is to celebrate the impact of volunteers on individuals, communities, as well as the state, promoting mateship and togetherness.

We wish Joanne all the best and are proud of her selfless efforts, community spirit and determination within our community.

We have FLU MIST in stock. This nasal spray vaccination works like other nasal sprays. It's given as a small spray into each nostril and is absorbed quickly, so even if you sneeze afterwards it still works.

The nasal spray flu vaccine is free for children 2 to 5 years.

*Children over 5 can still get it privately, however there will be a cost invovled. The flu injection is still free for everyone.

Stick it to the flu

Even healthy people can get very sick from flu. Getting an annual flu vaccination helps protect you and those around you.

The influenza vaccine is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and over.

CURRENTLY we have the vaccine for OVER 65's.

Free flu vaccines are available under the National Immunisation Program for people at higher risk.This includes:
• children aged 6 months to under 5 years
• pregnant women (at any stage of pregnancy and every pregnancy)
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over
• people aged 65 years and over
• people with certain medical conditions.
