We are listening to our community and we know that renting right now is incredibly tough for many people.

This survey, led by Tim Clifford from The Greens (WA), is an opportunity for renters to share their lived experience and help inform advocacy for change.

If you are currently renting or have recently rented, your story matters. Your input will contribute to a broader campaign aimed at addressing the challenges people are facing in the current rental climate.

We encourage anyone with lived experience to take a few minutes to complete the survey and be part of shaping change.

✨ TAKE THE WA RENTERS RIGHTS SURVEY ✨

Do you currently rent in WA? I want to hear from you!

Today I’m launching The Greens (WA) renters rights survey to capture YOUR renting experiences – ones that will help supercharge our fight to secure better rental protections in WA.

Right now, renting is cooked – and getting worse. But the Cook Labor Government just isn’t listening to renters’ desperate calls for relief from this crisis.

Together, we’re going to make them listen.

The survey will only take about 5 minutes to complete, and it’s one of the most powerful actions you can take towards real rights for renters in WA.

📢 Need a hand with paperwork? We’re here to help.

We know that forms and complex systems can feel overwhelming, especially if you have a disability, low literacy, or just need a little extra support. That first glance at a long, complicated form can be a real barrier to getting your needs met.

That’s why we’re launching The Form Whisperer - a free, community service designed to help people navigate forms and paperwork in a calm, supportive space.

Starting Thursday 12 February, 9:00am – 12:00pm at the Busselton Library, our volunteers can help you with:

Housing, health, Centrelink, NDIS, aged care, and other essential forms

Understanding complicated or confusing documents

Working through paperwork at your own pace

We want to be disability aware, inclusive, and practical, so everyone can access the support they need without stress or confusion.

🕘 Thursdays, 9:00am – 12:00pm

Come along - no appointments needed. Let’s make the community a place where everyone can be heard and supported. 💛

We’re looking for creative souls to help with sign writing for our food security programs! We’ve got / or can get the paint and supplies, and we’d love to collaborate with anyone keen to bring their art to life.

💡 Style is totally up to you — graffiti, abstract, bold, or whimsical — whatever feels like you!

Please note: this is volunteer/artistic opportunity only, with no payment, but your work will be seen and celebrated by the whole community.

If you’re interested or want to chat about ideas, email lhill@lampinc.org.au
— we can’t wait to see your creativity shine!

🌟 Big thanks to St Mary’s — the pantry is stocked! You guys are amazing! 🌟

Just a quick reminder to our wonderful community: the Really Really Free Pantry is for food items only. We’ve had some boxes of toys and DVDs left recently - it’s super kind of you, but those items would be better delivered to our local op-shops.

Also, the Really Really Free Garden is blooming! 🥒🍅🍃 Did you forget a cucumber for your salad tonight? We have plenty, and it’s all for the community, please help yourself!

Let’s keep this space for sharing food, supporting each other, and making sure everyone has access to a nutritious meal 💛

The LAMP crew are down at the foreshore today at 12.30, just near the jetty (to the right of the goose 👀).

They’re a pretty cool bunch and are around for a low-key chat about mental health, connection, and support. No pressure - just people, conversations, and a chance to learn a bit about what LAMP offers.

Come say hello if you’re nearby.
