🌱 Want to be part of something meaningful?
We’re launching some new community projects and are looking for volunteers who care about equity, inclusion, and helping others thrive.
Got skills, time, or passion to share? Let’s chat!
💬 “The Form Whisperer - Could That Be You?”
Every Thursday, 10am–2pm at the Busselton Library
Are you passionate about helping others and improving access to essential community services? We’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable volunteer to lend a hand to community members who need support completing all sorts of forms and documents.
You could be helping:
✅ Someone complete their superannuation paperwork so they can finally access their savings.
✅ A person living with disability to apply for the Disability Support Pension.
✅ A family navigate Department of Housing applications to find stable accommodation.
✅ Someone understand or respond to letters or government requests that otherwise go unanswered.
Many people in our community - including those experiencing homelessness, disability, low literacy, or other challenges simply don’t have anyone to help them with this kind of support. That’s where you come in.
If you’re patient, detail-oriented, confident with basic technology, and love connecting with people, this role is for you!
You’ll be supported by LAMP, with training, supervision, and ongoing guidance provided. You’ll be part of a caring network helping make access to essential services simple, dignified, and achievable for everyone.
💬 What’s in it for you?
• The satisfaction of making a genuine difference in people’s lives.
• Connection with your community.
• Experience in advocacy, community support, and practical assistance.
• A warm, welcoming team that values your contribution.

🥕A Dash of Care, A Pinch of Purpose - Become a LAMP Cook!
Join LAMP’s $3.50 Frozen Meal Initiative
LAMP has a strong and deep connection to the community it serves and we know that food insecurity is a real issue for many local people. We’re looking for passionate community members with a love for cooking (and a good heart) to help us bring affordable, nutritious meals to life.
If you fancy spending a few hours in our LAMP kitchen on a Monday or Friday morning, we’d love to have you become our team of community cooks! The project is still rolling out, so meal prep frequency and scheduling are flexible, though a fortnightly commitment would be ideal.
You won’t be on your own, ECU health science students have kindly created recipes complete with nutritional information, freezing guidelines, and cost breakdowns. And for those of you who love a bit of culinary creativity, there’s room to add your own flair (while staying within budget) to make meals that will truly resonate with our community.
This initiative is about more than food, it’s about community, connection, and collective care. Together, we can make sure everyone in our community has access to a good meal.
