The Brain ~ Body connection…

Sarah Barclay describes her yeas of experience with Yoga......

"Once I saw yoga for the physical benefits. However, over the years I have discovered deeper layers to yoga....how it promotes emotional release, nervous system regulation and spiritual insight.

For me Yoga was once used to push and build. Now, its about listening and healing.

When we stop using Yoga just as exercise, and instead a way to connect to our inner landscape, it becomes a form of therapy. A release of stored tension, emotions and trauma patterns in the body."

Together we will practice Gentle Hatha Yoga:
HA - Sun; symbolizing masculine energy, action strength and vitality.
THA - Moon; symbolizing feminine energy, calmness ,receptivity and introspection.
Hatha Yoga allows us to balance these two forces.

When practiced with awareness every pose, breath and moment of stillness become a way to bring the sun and moon into harmony within you.

We will end our Gentle Hatha Yoga session with the beautiful, melodic sounds of the crystal bowls.
