A child’s emotions often seem unpredictable, but much of what they feel begins long before thoughts form. When the gut is unsettled, children may feel irritable, anxious, or unfocused without understanding why. Their behavior is not always a choice. Sometimes it is simply biology responding to what their body is processing.
