The Second in Charge is responsible for supporting the Practice Manager in the day to day operations of the Medical Centre.

In instances where the Practice Manager is absent from the Centre, the Second In Charge is responsible for ensuring the continued efficient staff management, administration and customer service

Skills & experience:
- Previous general medical practice service and experience
- Ability to assist in the day to day management, direction and operation of the reception desk
- Excellent communication skills including being an escalation point for Health Professionals and patient complaints
- Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to assist PM with the management of the financial performance of the centre
- Proficient in Microsoft office, especially excel.

Dr Samir Irshad
Qualifications: MRCGP, MBBS
Dr Samir Irshad has over 20 years of clinical expertise gained abroad as a medical doctor. Committed to the best interests of the patients, according to all relevant medical protocols, and conducting investigations using the newest tools and technologies. strong emphasis on paying attention to, addressing, and answering all queries from patients in a way that makes sense to them. Extremely skilled medical professional who is knowledgeable in a variety of fields, conditions, drugs, and the interactions and reactions between them. His areas of expertise include minor surgery, preventive medicine, managing chronic diseases, and caring for the elderly. His mastery of professional theory allows him to provide flawless patient care. a committed team player with the ability to work with other medical professionals to develop efficient treatment plans. Dr Rob Henderson
Qualifications: DCH, MRCP, Msc, MBBS, FARCGP
Rob arrived from the UK to live in Busselton with his young family this year. He has been practicing as a GP for over 15 years and trained GPs back in the UK. His particular interests are elderly and complex medical care, men’s health, mental health, and skin cancer.

Rob qualified from University College London in 2003. He has worked in a broad range of hospital posts both in the UK and Perth from the Emergency Department to Palliative care. He completed his GP training in the UK in 2009 before a stint in Kwinana for 18 months. Back in the UK he qualified as a GP trainer and studied for a Masters in Health Policy from the London School of Economics.

Most recently he was the senior doctor in a large, multidisciplinary, 17 doctor practice, trained GPs, and was the Director of a collaboration of four local practices.

Rob loves travelling and came to Australia via a 4 month adventure with the family in Europe and Southeast Asia. Other than hanging out with the kids Rob enjoys running and swimming.

Dr Jacob Adebowale Adewole (Dr Jake)
MBBS, MBA, MPH, FCFP

Dr Jake has over 20+ years of general practice experience. He previously worked in Nigeria and South Africa before coming to Australia. He is a fellow of the College of family Physicians of South Africa, with post-graduate qualifications in Public Health and Business Administration.
His special interests include chronic disease management, palliative care, men’s health, occupational and travel medicine.
He is enthusiastic about holistic and integrated care, especially within the context of a multidisciplinary structure.
Dr Jake enjoys spending time with his family, cycling and swimming.
