Position: Support Worker
Location: Margaret River, WA
Availability:
Tuesdays: 9am to 5pm
Thursdays: 5pm to 9am
Flexibility to cover other shifts as needed
About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable support worker to join our established team. The participant is non-verbal but effectively communicates his needs and leads an active social lifestyle. Your role will be crucial in ensuring his quality of life within his own home.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality support and care
Assist with daily living activities
Support the participant in social and recreational activities
Personal care needed
Ensure a safe and comfortable environment
Requirements:
Experience in support work is essential
Experience with dementia is beneficial
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to enhancing the participant’s quality of life
