Are you being yourself!!
I ask this question because sometimes we wear a mask to cope with different situations. Similar to wearing different coloured hats or personas.
The question that comes to mind is, how long can you sustain this mask and at what cost to your authentic self and others.
Does it feel good and how does your body feel. Do you notice;
Aches and pains
Feeling light headed
Disconnected
Confused
Irritable
Depressed
Alone...just to name a few
TAKE NOTICE!!
Smile when you truly feel like it.
Cry while not holding back tears.
Use your voice to express your feelings.
Scream out loud and let it go.
Feel your bodies internal messages, tightness in the chest, aches and pains.
Ask yourself what is happening with me.
Share and talk about it with someone.
Let go of pride, ego.
YOU ARE HUMAN!!
The reason for my post is that sadly I have seen the heartbreak of wives, kids, dear friends who had no idea their loved one was suffering internally and that they would even notice that there was anything going on. Then it was too late, they ended their own life carrying their burdens.
You are never alone
You are worthy
You are valued
You are loved
