Dr Esther will be treating patients at Byford Chiropractic from the beginning of September. Currently she works at a chiropractic clinic in the city.
Over the last 2 weeks and this week she has been observing me treating and getting refamiliarised with using ultrasound, for those of you that find it helpful.
I am sure you will help her with the transition into Byford just as you have all helped me over the years with your understanding and patience.
The number for ｂｏｏｋｉｎｇ appointments will remain the same and the ｌｏｃａｔｉｏｎ of the clinic will remain the same.

ᗯE ᗩᖇE ᖇETIᖇIᑎG - but wait, there's more...
It's one of those things that doesn't sneak up slowly on us, it looks a way off but then before you know it - ᏇᏂᎧᎧᏕᏂ- there it is right in front of you. We will be retiring at the end of August and I really want to take this opportunity to thank the many wonderful patients we have treated over the years for allowing me the opportunity to touch (pun there!) your lives. Know that you have also touched ours and that makes this decision difficult and sad 😢 but there is also some things to look👀 forward to 😊.
Plans are progressing to have a lady chiropractor step into my place, once we have more info I'll post names and pictures etc so you will get to know her. She will have access to all your treatment notes so she will know how best to treat you, unlike a clinic you haven't been to before. Since you are an existing patient you won't have to start again as a new patient, and pay a new patient fee, as you would if you went to another clinic. The new chiro has workplace experience and she will be spending time observing me in practice so she better understands how to treat you and make the hand over (more puns) smooth.

Looks dramatic but actually it's just Wednesdays that are changing. Now that the new year has settled (except for the last bumpy Covid week) Byford Chiropractic will ͏ᑎOT ᗷE OᑭEᑎ Oᑎ ᗩ ᗯEᗪᑎEᔕᗪᗩY; which will coincide with Debbie getting Wednesdays off work. [̲̅l̲̅][̲̅o̲̅][̲̅c̲̅][̲̅k̲̅][̲̅d̲̅][̲̅o̲̅][̲̅w̲̅][̲̅n̲̅] - hope you got your precious.

Byford Chiropractic will still be open Tuesday and Thursday in the afternoon, Friday and Saturday in the morning. As a registered professional healthcare provider, at this time, we are permitted to remain open and you are able to attend healthcare providers. Like me, you MUST wear a facemask (you have to wear it just to be outside to get here in the first place...)😷. AHPRA (the governing health body) will advise of their stipulations sometime and if there are any changes I'll send another post.
Meanwhile use the toilet paper sparsely because it has to last out 5 days 🙄

Just a heads-up that Debbie and I will be ᗩᗯᗩY for a few days in a place up north known for its windiness and so maybe we'll try the kite flying. Dates away are Sat 19th Sept to Thu 24th and I'll be back treating from Friday afternoon 25th Sept.
All you COVID-19 languishing people, hang in there, ȶɦɛ ɛռɖ ɨֆ ռɨɢɦ. You can take that either way 😏 good or bad!

Is it safe to come out? I sure hope so, we will be taking a ᎳᎬᎬᏦ ᎪᎳᎪᎽ down south (while we can) from Thursday 28th, returning to work on Thursday 3rd June. Wish you all a remarkable long weekend on the 1st.

Everything else might be falling apart but we are here for you. There has been uncertainty about whether we have ｒｅｍａｉｎｅｄ ｏｐｅｎ-ｙｅｓ ｗｅ ｈａｖｅ. We have had to move our clinic days around a bit to flex with the changes. Just check on the opening times and I'll try to keep you informed.

We are complying with requirements for cleaning the headpiece of the table and washing hands between patients, mask wearing and disinfecting other surfaces regularly (like door k***s). So far, so good - let's keep it that way by being vigilant. Take care.
