🏆 Back-to-Back Champions! 🏆

What a way to finish six incredible years together 💜

The Panthers wrap up their journey as back-to-back champions after an undefeated final season — and it’s been such a privilege to watch them grow from little minis to fierce competitors on court.

💜 With their coach also being their hand therapist, it’s been extra special to support these players both on and off the court. Any injuries along the way were promptly and expertly managed to minimise downtime and get them back playing as quickly and safely as possible 🙌

Last week, we celebrated the successful discharge of 5 incredible clients who are now back to full, functional, pain-free use of their hands and upper limbs. 🙌💪 Whether it’s getting back to work, enjoying hobbies, or living pain-free, we’re so proud to be part of their recovery journey.

🚨 Public Service Announcement: Splint Safety Edition 🚨

With summer heating up, we’re seeing more “splint casualties” – a.k.a. melted splints left in hot cars! Case in point: this poor guy (pictured here) was left to bake and needed an emergency facelift. Lucky for it, we could remould and give it a fresh set of colorful straps! 🌈💪

🌡️ If your splint finds itself in a hot mess:
1. Stay Calm – Don’t try pulling it apart while it’s melted! Carefully place it under cool running water to harden it up.
2. Once it’s set, make an appointment with your friendly hand therapist (yes, that’s me!) to have it remoulded.
3. And remember for next time: Your splint isn’t a fan of tanning sessions – no hot cars, please!

Your splint works hard to support you; treat it with a little love so it can stay in top shape!

Feeling incredibly grateful today! I received the most beautiful flowers from a fellow hand therapist and friend as a thank you for my support 🌸💐

And to top it off, a heartfelt thank you from one of my younger patients and their family after an urgent visit for a finger injury. It’s moments like these that remind me how rewarding it is to make a real difference in someone’s life. 💖
