What an incredible time in Tasmania! 🌿🌊

I recently ran two Foundation Courses alongside two wonderful colleagues, hosted by the talented Michelle at the Reseed Centre in Penguin. I also had the joy of facilitating a 4-hour workshop for health professionals at the Devonport Community Health Centre.

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many talented people and I'm honoured to have supported them with their communication challenges. Witnessing those lightbulb moments firsthand is exactly why I do what I do.

Ever notice how quickly conversations turn into analysis, blame, or fixing?

We often communicate from:
• Evaluations about what’s wrong
• Stories about what someone meant
• Strategies about how it “should” be solved
• Demands, even subtle ones

Sometimes we walk away feeling less connected than we intended.
Recognising the pattern matters. New skills can be learned. With practice, you can create communication habits that strengthen and enrich your relationships.

In this 4-hour introduction to Compassionate Communication in Ocean Shores, we’ll explore a different way.

Do you ever feel like you’re doing your best to keep the peace—but end up feeling resentful, shut down, or like you’ve disappeared in the process?

Maybe it’s the same conversations going in circles.
Maybe it’s struggling to ask for what you need—or even to know what that is.
Maybe it’s setting boundaries at work… only to backtrack because it feels too hard or too risky.

If any of that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
And there’s a different way.

I’m holding this introduction workshop because I love sharing Nonviolent Communication (NVC). It has helped me so much personally, and I see the difference it makes in my clients’ lives every day.

I’d love to see more people learn NVC and experience all the ways it can support healing, clarity, and connection. Honestly, I’d like the whole world to learn it—a world where communication helps us build understanding and respect, so life works better for everyone.

This workshop is an invitation for anyone curious about discovering new things about themselves and new ways to communicate—ones that can genuinely improve your life and relationships.
