“I am so grateful for the care Lulu provided my husband in his final stage of life, and the support she gave our family.
When the community palliative care team didn’t have the capacity to assist us, Lotus stepped in.
Because of this, we were able to keep Drew at home — comfortable, surrounded by love, and in familiar surroundings. It gave us precious time together and the peaceful passing we had hoped for.
This kind of care is made possible through the fundraising events Lotus runs.
I am forever grateful to Lulu, the Lotus team, and everyone who supports them. It truly meant the world to us.”

"Lotus helped us care for my Mum in her final months. They are a beautiful and caring team of nurses who provided individualised care to meet my Mum’s needs. Because Mum needed 24-hour care, they kindly discounted the overnight fee to enable us to keep her at home.
Their fundraising events make this generous support possible, and we are forever grateful."

If you’re new here, welcome - you’ve found a community that truly cares.

Lotus was created to help families navigate loved ones needing palliative care and end-of-life care with compassion, dignity, and support.
Our mission is to make it possible for loved ones to stay at home, in a familiar and peaceful environment.

We offer nursing care that is delivered by experienced nurses. Care includes wound care, respite, and in home assistance as well as guidance, education, and emotional support along the way.
From just a few hours of care when needed, to helping bring your loved one home from hospital, we’re here to ease the load and walk alongside you.

You’re not alone in this.

Our hearts are so full 💛

A huge thank you to our incredible community for showing up at the Lotus fundraiser at the Billinudgel Pub. What unfolded was something truly special — a coming together of kindness, music, and genuine care for one another.

To the amazing DJs who gave their time and energy, to everyone who danced, connected, and contributed, to Mala for capturing the magic and to the beautiful team at the Billinudgel pub — thank you. The atmosphere was unforgettable, with such a strong sense of community spirit and generosity.

Every dollar raised will go directly towards supporting local people who may not otherwise be able to access private palliative care, or who need a little extra help alongside their existing home care services. This support means more families can remain at home, with comfort, dignity, and the care they deserve.

We are so proud to be part of this community — and so grateful to stand alongside you.
