Happy festive season to all! A big Merry Happy from my family to yours!
I'm in and out of the clinic only a little between now and jan 19th when I officially return to full capacity work so this is me signing off from Social Media until then.
Feel free to still email or text me and keep your eyes in the bookings page incase some last min silly season appointments do open up, but as for now I'm booked out!

Here is baby Kat, in the very beginnings of my therapist days, looking super earnest and "professional" in my home clinic in Red Hill Brisbane.
Back then I didnt know much, but I had an idea that I wanted to help people in pain. Back then I wanted my massages to be cheap and accessible for people like me, students with no money.
Fast forward about 15 years and here I am with my own clinic space, working full time in my own business of Byron Bumps, offering massage for people like me - this time its mums, pregnant women, postpartum women and their families.
I'm still a massage therapist, despite lots of ideas and attempts around changing my career to be something more "legitimate".
I'm finding myself now somewhere between the woo and the clinical, the exclusive and the down the earth, offering something I now value just as much as I do physio, osteo, psychology etc..
I still love massage as much as my shirt proclaims.
Heres to the next 15 years :)

Let's chat Pregnancy and Postpartum bodies.

Expectations, assumptions, disappointments, pain, mysteries, surprises and hopes.

I bring you 8 plus years of study, work and lived experience to help tackle your queries of physical presenting symptoms that can be address outside of your OBGYN or Midwife's office.

Got a question? I might just have the answer, or at least can help you find one. Or maybe a fellow circler has the answer to a question you didnt even know you needed to ask!

Being in circle with other pregnant women is an amazing opportunity to feel validated in your experience, make new friends and connections, and also deepen your understanding of the physical journey of pregnancy and postpartum.

We will have a lovely morning tea, and some little gifts from the PBB after also!

2025 for Byron Bumps is off to a stellar start!
Love love love seeing my weeks chocker blocker with all kinds of clients, teary and raw new mummas, lots of lovely pregnant bellies, some hopeful pre conception darlings and a surprising and wonderful stream of older, wiser and vibrant women.
I feel both parts excited and exhausted as the year is gathering speed and I'm trying to let go and flow with it.
The outside world is a pretty messy place so I'm trying to tend to my inner garden, including getting on the table more myself!
If one of your goals for this year is to go inward I'm right here and ready to help.
