It’s cold, rainy and the blankets are out!
As the year treads on and we take the long staircase down to winter, the invitation is to slow down a little bit, go more inward, take stock and maybe reevaluate our routines and priorities. Do you feel it?
Often what works for us in the warmer months slowly stops serving us the same way, and I find a week (or 6) of wet weather can be a real mind f**k - or on the flip side perhaps an opportunity.
Little changes like bedtimes, what’s for breakfast and how many commitments we make on the weekends can really pivot us out of despair and overwhelm and closer to peace and recovery.
On my end - I’ve been trading staying up for getting more sleep, and the whole house has often been dark and snoring by 9.30pm.
Trading a smoothie for something warm like porridge or eggs, making sure our feet are warm ( socks and sandles are still cool right?..right?)
