What an incredible honour it was to present alongside these inspiring professionals at Gowries' Especially for You, Wellness Day last week.

A big thank you to all the attendees who participated in my workshop. And a of course a big thank you to and the team at .nsw .educationhub for putting together this event and highlighting the neccessity of educator wellbeing.

As always, I feel grateful & privileged to be part of the early childhood teaching community - the leaders, change makers and eternal givers of society.🙏🏽

📅This month, Big Steps educator leaders met nationally and voted for three key issues for the Setting the Standard campaign in 2023:

🗣Getting educator wages moving with a 25% wage increase!

🗣Government funding for wages in the 2023 budget, so educators have a reason to stay, without families having to pay more.

🗣A stronger representative voice for educators in the workplace.

Educators everywhere are endorsing the standard - and we need to make sure that everyone has a chance to have their say!

⭐️Rachael is an early childhood educator, an Art Therapist and a Disability Support Worker in Byron Bay, NSW.

This month I will be interviewing Rachael about her professional events, challenges and lessons she experienced as an early childhood professional in 2022, and the goals she has set for 2023.
