What a day

The 2025 Tag Team Surf Event at Main Beach Lennox Head was something really special. We brought together so many different generations of the surf community and shared an unforgettable day in the waves.

Big thanks to LeBa Boardriders, Club Lennox Sports, Billabong Australia and our amazing local community for making it all happen. The support, the energy, the stoke — it was all there.

From first light to final heat, every wave counted and every one of you made it magic.

Can’t wait to do it all again next year.

A tribute to Daniel Hosking

Daniel Hosking wasn’t just a surfer—he was a true force of nature. Known for his infectious smile, caring spirit, and incredible talent in the water, he radiated an energy that lifted everyone around him. But his gifts didn’t stop at the ocean. Daniel was also a talented musician, using his love for music to bring people together, just as he did with his surfing.

More than a respected member of the Lennox Head surfing community, Daniel was a connector—a kind, open-hearted soul who inspired others to look out for one another. His presence brought people together, reminding us of the power of kindness, respect, and genuine connection.

His legacy lives on through the community he loved, particularly through The Healthy Minds Club, founded by his close mates to support mental well-being. Because of him, we continue to foster a culture of support, openness, and care for one another.

Let’s honor Daniel by checking in on our mates, lifting each other up, and embracing life with the warmth and joy he so effortlessly shared. Through the waves, through music, and through each other, we carry his spirit forward.

March 1st will remember Daniel by hosting the club round in honour of him. Proceeds from fundraising efforts on the day will be donated to the THMC to continue to various initiatives we are running.
