Finally finished!!!!!
Over 20 Op Shop's later and visits to both Green Shed's several times I found my birds!! I couldn't find a Magpie or Galah so I had to make them. My neighbour got me the Cockatoo and a lovely lady in Bungendore gave me the Rainbow Lorikeet. I made all there hats as well
The tree branch I found on the side of the road and my daughter and I lugged in home in my tiny car, boot partly open but a very short drive home. About a week later a huge tree branch fell down at the end of a local road. I just had to have Gum Leaves :-)
All Australia birds, sitting in a Gum Tree, with a tiny Possum and Wombat included.
I picked up the wood today from the wood scrap heap at Bunnings.
Took a lot longer to do than expected, but I'm pretty happy with the end result :-D
