We were joined by a special guest Dr Tasveer Singh gynaecologist from
John Flynn Private Hospital who shared expert insights and answered questions, helping us all enhance the care we provide.

After seven days without power Essential Energy have finally connected us so we are back!

The doctors are adding extra availability next week to help make up for people who missed out on an appointment due to cyclone Alfred.

Thursday 13th March, we are still without power at the practice. Essential Energy have updated their estimate to restore power this afternoon. If this is restored, we will be open tomorrow, with doctors adding additional appointments next week to help anyone who has missed out.

We still do not have Essential Energy power at the practice, we are on-site sorting out the rest of the week. We will be closed tomorrow (Thursday) and will post an update about Friday within 24 hours.

Cabarita Beach Medical will be closed Tuesday 11th March 2025 while we await our power being restored by Essential EnergyEssential Energy. They are currently responding to hundreds of requests for power from tens of thousands of customers.

We will let patients know of any updates as soon as the situation changes. In the meantime, follow our page to be kept up to date.

Cabarita Beach Medical will be CLOSED FRIDAY 7th MARCH due to Cyclone Alfred.
We will not have staff onsite, but Dr Doug will be doing limited telehealth for patients who already have a booked appointment.
For urgent contact, please contact us through facebook, and please stay safe until the storm passes.

At this point we are planning to re-open Monday, with doctors adding extra sessions to help make up patient appointments.

Our practice will be closed this Thursday 6th March, as Cyclone Alfred is expected to make landfall. Safety for our team and patients is our number one priority.

We will be adding extra availability next week to help patients get access to a doctor, and if you need to get in contact with us after hours, please use the facebook messenger service on our page.

We will endeavour to attend to anything urgent as we are able.

We are watching the unfolding cyclone situation very closely.

Safety for our team & patients is our highest priority and we are preparing for possible practice closures on Thursday & Friday this week as/if the cyclone hits our shore.

If you have a non-urgent appointment please consider moving it to the next week or so. We will advise patients on facebook, google, our website & via SMS if we are forced to close.

We will be looking to add extra availability to make up appointments with extra services once the cyclone has passed.

In the meantime watch this space for updates, and please stay safe.
