How much Black Pearl herbs should be priced ? It should NOT be over $25 per bottle. We charge $20 per bottle in our clinic with free consultation . If you want to buy some yourself, below is the link of our supplier, and it’s only $22 per bottle on their website . I was shocked to hear that some clinics charge patients $40-50 per bottle plus extra consultation fee.
So wrong in my opinion. Chinese medicine shouldn’t be here for money hunting purpose.

My Herbal Tea:
5 chrysanthemum flowers, 4 slices of red ginseng, 3 dried longan pulp, 3 rosebuds, 6 goji berries, and 4 lotus seeds.

This carefully crafted herbal infusion combines nature’s finest ingredients to nourish and rejuvenate the body. Chrysanthemum helps clear heat and soothe the eyes, while red ginseng revitalizes energy and supports vitality. Dried longan pulp promotes restful sleep and calms the mind, and rosebuds gently uplift the spirit and balance emotions. Goji berries are rich in antioxidants, helping to strengthen the body’s defenses, and lotus seeds support digestive health and inner harmony. Together, they create a soothing, wellness-boosting tea that restores balance and enhances overall well-being.

Jing is on his way home .
His Egypt tour nearly ends .
All temples and historical sites are amazing. The Government loves tourists and protects tourists well. The local people respect other cultures or other religions.
Reasonable safe.
Some tips for anyone who wants to travel to Egypt:
1) they love American dollars so make sure you exchange some American dollars : not through your bank as most banks rip you off; not at airport as this is the worst place to exchange money. Normally at currency exchange place in local shopping center should be fine. You don’t need much $400 plenty enough .
2) Don’t exchange Egyptian pounds at airport. There are many Exchage office in Egyptian cities and I think they are owned by the Government . These offices offer the best exchange rates. Far better than airport ones , and they are safe .
3) Feel free to use your bank card to take money out in the ATM machine. Their exchange rates are very good. However your bank may charge you some fee.
4) if you are CBA customer and you don’t have a credit card, look into World Debit Master Card : $10 a month for fee; you get $4 back; you receive free travel insurance; no fee at all for overseas shopping and taking money out; plus two airport lounges per year.
5) Talabat is their local food delivery company, so make sure you download and use it.
6) Buy water at big super market which have price tags : small shops on the street charge high tourist price . For example water in supermarkets about 5 pounds per bottle and shops charge 50 pounds; small can of coca is 10 pounds and shop could ask 100 pounds. Buy cheap water and take it with you or make your own coffee as at tourist sites the water or coffee is a big big rip off. Also use Talabat to order drinks too.
7) feel free to bargain the price. Fridge magnets is around 10-20 pounds and shouldn’t be 100 pounds.
8 )get an eSIM card for internet , download WhatsApp or Wechat.
9) don’t trust local taxi or any taxi, just use Uber. For example today from the market to hotel the tax requested 800 pounds then down to 700 600 500 400. Uber cost 140 pounds but I gave driver 100 pounds tip as very bad traffic and he was very happy. But normally 30-50 pounds ok.
10) tips: at restaurants check the receipt if receipt already includes service charges then no tips . If not include service charge 10-15% of your total bills is fine. 20-50 pounds tips are normal . For tourist guide the tip is about $5 American dollars a day which is 200-250 pounds a day.
11) Horse ride is a big rip off. Unless organised by your tour guide because they may take you to no where and asked for big money.
12) there are tourist police everywhere so overall very safe but also be careful and please follow your tourist guide tightly
13) take photos yourself as some people ask for money to take pictures for you.
14) clothes very cheap and beauty products cheap and some medicine cheap too: for example cold sore cream under $1 (27 pounds). But make sure you ask them the price as some place charges tourist different price but most pharmacy are trustable.
15) download Deep seek or chatgpt for translation
16) Tour guide said Nothing wrong to ignore people who try to talk to you or ignore kids who come towards you. Most time if you say hello back or be polite you will be trapped or forced to go to their shop.
17) at Markets, just do your own shopping , if someone keep following you just ask them to leave you alone or say no as they look like helping but not really and they will ask you for money for following you or so called “ helping you”.
18) local paper drawing very cheap, we paid a big price at the place tour guide took us: it could be 20 pounds to 100 pounds .
19) essential oils very expensive and I couldn’t control myself and spent too much money on it.
20) Jewels another rip off: they told me by international price but then told me wrong weight and also double the price.
21) Be prepared for culture shock as bad traffic , no traffic rules, bad pollution, dirty streets. You may heve dry eyes dry throat dry nose dry skin lots of phlegm & cough your lung up. So bring some sore throat medicine or sinus medicine or antibiotics for lung infections if you can .

However remember this country is still a developing country so please do not be so fussy. People are very loud but this is just how they talk so don’t be so scared. If you have ever been to China in 1990s, Egyptian cities are like Chinese cities in 1990s.
Overall I love my trip and it reminds me of China’s old times.

Mulberry Fruit (桑椹, Sāng Shèn) in TCM

In TCM, the mulberry fruit is primarily valued as a tonic herb, meaning it supplements and nourishes the body's fundamental substances. It is considered gentle and beneficial for long-term use.

Property and Flavor (性味, Xìng Wèi)

· Nature: Cold (寒, Hán)
· Flavor: Sweet (甘, Gān)
· Meridians Entered (归经, Guī Jīng): Heart (心), Liver (肝), and Kidney (肾)

Primary Functions and Benefits (功效, Gōng Xiào)

The core functions of mulberry fruit are centered around nourishing Yin and Blood.

1. Nourishes Liver and Kidney Yin (滋补肝肾阴, Zībǔ Gān Shèn Yīn)
· Benefit: This is its most celebrated function. It addresses symptoms of Yin deficiency, which is a state of dryness, heat, and depletion in the body.
· Common Uses:
· Dizziness and Tinnitus: A feeling of lightheadedness or ringing in the ears often linked to Kidney Yin deficiency.
· Blurred Vision: The Liver opens into the eyes, and nourishing Liver Yin improves vision.
· Premature Whitening of Hair: The Kidney system governs the hair. Nourishing Kidney essence helps maintain hair color and health.
· Insomnia and Restless Sleep: Especially when caused by an inability to calm the mind due to Yin deficiency.
2. Nourishes Blood (滋阴养血, Zīyīn Yǎng Xuè)
· Benefit: It helps to generate and supplement the Blood.
· Common Uses:
· Pale Complexion: A sign of Blood deficiency.
· Heart Palpitations: When the Heart lacks sufficient Blood to nourish it.
3. Promotes Fluid Production and Moistens (生津润燥, Shēngjīn Rùn Zào)
· Benefit: Its sweet and moist nature helps generate body fluids and alleviate dryness.
· Common Uses:
· Thirst and Dry Mouth: Especially from internal heat or after an illness.
· Constipation due to Intestinal Dryness: It acts as a gentle laxative by moistening the intestines, making it excellent for the elderly or those with chronic dryness.

In summary: In TCM, Sāng Shèn (Mulberry Fruit) is a sweet, cold tonic that primarily nourishes Yin and Blood of the Liver and Kidneys, promotes body fluids, and moistens dryness. It is best known for supporting hair health, vision, and calming the spirit, while also helping with constipation.on
